Well, I didn't this notice until it was over!  So glad Pudge is safe!!  That is one of my greatest fears especially now that we are camping with our girls!  DeeDea, give Pudge a big hug from Izzy and Taffy!

We will be at Bay area Dog park with sunny and our new tri color corgi puppy at 3pm if anyone wants to have a corgi meetup. 5/19/2013

I was just about to post about the corgi below!  He realy does need a new home!  Are you assiciated with the vet's office that has had him?  Dr. Crouse is my friend!  :)

He has adjusted so well! He is out with my son at the disc golf course now!

I will do that, once I have the chance and can figure out how to do it! He has had another good day, he must have belonged to a woman... very attached to me and jumps in bed and lays his head on my pillow! too funny!  He hasn't really joined in with the other 2 corgis, probably because my female is being a brat to him!

We will be at Boneyard Saturday evening with Rigby and Ethel if anyone wants to join!

Well, I know she is NOT a corgi but I couldn't leave her on the side of the road. Introducing.....Rosie! (She does have short legs.) I hope everyone is having a great summer!

Hello Houston Corgis!

I'm Arrow and my corgi's name is Pengu--she's a blue Pembroke.

A few years ago I was a member of the group and enjoyed hearing about the meet ups, especially the Halloween ones! 

 We sadly could not participate because I worked graveyards and daytime activities were difficult on the weekends. But now I am free from the night work and look forward to finally meeting up and getting know people who love dogs as much as we do! I would love to hear about other peoples experiences with their corgis, I am curious if some of Pengu's cute behavior is unique to the breed or is just her own personality. I look forward to the next meet up!!

Cowboy will be 1 year old on 8/15/13! We're taking her and Sheriff to the Bay Area Dog Park on that day at 1pm and will be hanging out there for a little while. If anyone wants to join us (corgi or not) we will be happy to see you there.

We'll be at the Bay Area dog park at 1pm today with Cowboy and Sheriff for CB's bday. Would be overjoyed to see other corgis there. :)

Oh boo, I picked a great time to take a break from the computer Meaghan! I would have loved to bring Thor to get to play with his brother Sheriff! At least their birthday is coming up, too :)

When is the next corgi meetup?

I am so ready for a meetup too! How about 2 weeks from now on Sat., 9/14th? We could meet in the morning around 9 before it is too hot. Maybe we will have a cold front that weekend! ;) Let's vote on a dog park. Come on guys!!!

sunny & kikko are ready for their first corgi meetup. Weekends are the best time for us.

Bill Archer sounds good. Me and Peach can make the 9/14 suggested date.

I just learned it was called Bill Archer when I was there today; I have just been calling it bear creek...

I vote for Bill Archer on the 14th too. It is a drive for us but worth it for a corgi crowd. I love to watch the dogs swim in the pond. :)

We would love to be part of the next corgi meet up. Unfortunately the 14th doesn't work for us. Oh well maybe next time!

If you can't make a date can you please suggest another date? I think there is more than enough interest to have 2 smaller meets this month since not everyone's schedule is in sync.

For me  good dates are the 15th or the weekend of the 28th.

Man this is an awkwardly busy month for me. :P

We can't make it the 14, but we could do September 7/8 or 21/22. Bill Archer is far for us, but if enough people can make it I would drive that far. We usually go to a "park" off montrose and allen parkway, its not fenced, and the bayou is right there if the dogs want to jump in. We enjoy it and its actually decent size, lots of room to run and play, but once again not fenced but have never seen a problem with that. We'll prob be there for sure 9/8 around 6:30 pm, its pretty nice outside then

I'm for checking out the "park" off montrose and allen parkway this Sunday. Can I get directions?

I'm also interested about this park off montrose, if it has a spot the corgis can swim then that would be awesome.

Its called Buffalo Bayou "Dog Park" on google, address is 6000 Chimney Rock Rd, Houston, TX . Right off Montrose and Allen Parkway. Parking can be tricky, I park on Memorial Heights Dr. isn't that far away, nice warm up walk to the park. Just a reminder, there are no fences, no clean water (depending how you view the water from the bayou). The current isn't too strong if your corgi wants to to get wet or swim. I'll be there Sunday around 6:30pm and everyone who can make it welcome, or welcome to check it out in general and post their thoughts on it. Should be some nice shade around that time, there are a couple benches, but they are in dirt, so if you don't like standing, bring a chair or blanket.

Great! let's have a corgi count. Kikko and Sunny will be there so that's 2 corgis already.

Gino will be there along with my friends two other corgi's, Hero and Bella so that's 3 more! 

I will be bringing Daisy and Scout and our non-corgi, Rosie! :)

Nemo and I should be there as well. It's a bit of a hike, so we may be showing up a bit late.
