I'm for checking out the "park" off montrose and allen parkway this Sunday. Can I get directions?

I'm also interested about this park off montrose, if it has a spot the corgis can swim then that would be awesome.

Its called Buffalo Bayou "Dog Park" on google, address is 6000 Chimney Rock Rd, Houston, TX . Right off Montrose and Allen Parkway. Parking can be tricky, I park on Memorial Heights Dr. isn't that far away, nice warm up walk to the park. Just a reminder, there are no fences, no clean water (depending how you view the water from the bayou). The current isn't too strong if your corgi wants to to get wet or swim. I'll be there Sunday around 6:30pm and everyone who can make it welcome, or welcome to check it out in general and post their thoughts on it. Should be some nice shade around that time, there are a couple benches, but they are in dirt, so if you don't like standing, bring a chair or blanket.

Would love to come out on the 14th, if this is still the scheduled meet up! It will be Gino's first corgi fest.

Great! let's have a corgi count. Kikko and Sunny will be there so that's 2 corgis already.

Gino will be there along with my friends two other corgi's, Hero and Bella so that's 3 more! 

I will be bringing Daisy and Scout and our non-corgi, Rosie! :)

Nemo and I should be there as well. It's a bit of a hike, so we may be showing up a bit late.

Izzy and Taffy can't wait! And they will bring their Chihuahua brother, Taz, too.

We will be bringing Carl for his first Corgi Meetup! We are also bringing our dachshund Penny. I've also got a pretty decent camera I'll bring along too :)

I'm working on borrowing a camera from a friend but we definitely need a good camera for the corgi photos!

Marilu suggest a day and place. We only do these things on Saturday because someone says 'hey, let's do saturday'.

On a separate note, I really like Gene Green dog park off east belt. I know I live on the wrong side of town from most of you but it's worth a try if not too far. There are shallow pools my dog loves to run in like puddles after the rain. And there is a wooded area still in the fenced in part where we play hide and seek. 

I'm up for Gene Green on Sunday, even if it isn't an 'event'. The last 2 weekends it had been raining so my dog was the only one there and we had a blast. 

When is good for you?

I live right by Gene Green as well. However, I took Nemo the other day and the moquitoes were really, really bad. It supposed to cool off this weekend so they might not be quite as bad.

where is the Oct 12 meet up? LylaBelle, Ein and Wally would love to meet up with fellow corgis!

I vote for Bill Archer in the morning. I think we will have more room there.

My girlfriend is super excited about this meetup. She bought Nemo a costume and can't wait to show it off!

Did one of you go to Raisin' Cane's in Pearland after the meetup? We saw someone at the drive-thru in a green SUV with a Corgi sticker on the back and a red/white corgi in the front seat. I couldn't make out the driver though. :)

I can't believe I got busted sneaking off to Raising Canes's! What a coincidence to see me again on the other side of town. I had to circle the place twice because I missed the drive thru entrance and Daisy was barking her head off as the co-pilot. We had a great time at the meetup and can't wait until the next one. Are we looking at Sunday, the 16th?

The 10th works better for us. Can't wait to finally meet the group!

Any recommendations for pet sitters in the Pearland area (not like a full time thing, just for vacations)?

Hey guys! Was curious if there was still going to be a meet up this upcoming weekend?

We will miss out this month because we will be at an agility trial in Santa Fe. If you're in the area feel free to stop by. We will be running Sat. and Sun. and will be there 8 to around 5. Have fun at the meet up and takes lots of pictures!

Anything works for us. I would vote for Bay Area Dog park but I know a lot of you guys aren't on this side of town. We are willing to meet where ever! :P
