Pennsylvania Corgis

Corgis who live in PA
  • Alyssa & Chris W.

    Welcome! :o)
  • Alyssa & Chris W.

I'm new to this whole "starting a group" thing and I'm relatively new to the Corgi thing too. I just noticed that there wasn't a group for Corgis who live in PA and I thought that there should be one.
  • Alyssa & Chris W.

Hi Kerry and welcome! :o) I live in Montgomery which is right outside of Williamsport. Scranton isn't too far, just about an hour or 2. In fact, one of my former roommates is from Hop Bottom.
  • shelly

Looks like we are all over the state - I am right outside of Philadelphia
  • Karen

We live in Easton with our 4 Corgis!
  • Meghan

We are from State College which is pretty much the center of the state. I keep hoping for a Corgi meet up somewhere in the state but there doesn't seem to be anything near by :(
  • Karen

Wow we could start regional chapters and take over the state!
  • Alyssa & Chris W.

    Welcome everyone! :o)
I'd love to have a meet up nearby. I feel bad because I don't think Murphy gets a lot of time to socialize and play with other dogs and we can't afford to take him to doggy daycare or anything like that.
  • Alyssa & Chris W.

We'd be up for that. Sounds like it would be fun. We'd even bring some food or something to help out.
  • Meghan

That would be great! Nugget has never met another Corgi before.
  • Masa and Reznor

Hello. I don't have a Corgi (yet), but I do live in PA. Southern York County to be precise.
  • Amanda & Tuck

Hi! We are in Phoenixville, PA - about 30 minutes west of Philly.

There is a corgi picnic in PA on June 6th at Hibernia Park, in Coatesville,Pa. I know that is too far for many of you but for those in the area there is info about it on the home page.
  • Stefanie and Niko

    Hello All,

Stefanie from Pittsbujrgh PA with my 1 year old Cardigan Niko!!
  • Karen

Just try to picture a corgi picnic! Do you think they would let any people get any of the food? Three of our boys are true chow hounds- one is a delicate eater- we wonder if her really a corgi!
  • Ken Mark

We live in upper Bucks County, PA, in Perkasie, near Quakertown.
  • Alyssa & Chris W.

We actually plan to make it to Pittsburgh and Harrisburg this summer, unfortunately though Murphy won't be coming along with us. We wanna see the sights, go the zoo and I had never been to Harrisburg before.
  • Alyssa & Chris W.

    Welcome Zoe :o)
  • Jodi Hoffman

  • Scott Mcclintock

I cant believe I found this webpage just a handful of days after the Coatesville get together. We live pretty close to Coatesville and would definitely love to attend any future PA Corgi parties in the general area.
  • Jodi Hoffman

Thanks kerry, where in pa are you??? i will tell my mom, but she has selected a breeder in ohio she found in this web site and has sent a deposit for the next litter for 1st choice.. but if she likes what she sees in your litter she might change her mind. i wish i was ready for another pup, but with the baby i know i just can't do it now..!!!!
  • Jodi Hoffman

  • Alyssa & Chris W.

  • Karen

  • Christine Jones

Hi! We are Blizzard and Sooner, Cardigans from Ashland (Fountain Springs) PA. It is so nice to see other Corgis from across the state! Is anyone planning on going to Woofstock this Sunday? We have never been there and would like to know what to expect. Here's a link...http://www.cpaawoofstock.com/....any info would be greatly appreciated! =)
  • Alyssa & Chris W.

Welcome, Blizzard and Sooner! :o) I've never been to Woofstock either, but now that I know that there's something around here for dogs I just may have to go sometime. Do you know if its an annual thing? If it is, we may have to go next year and check it out.
  • Christine Jones

It looks as though this is the 5th year for Woofstock. We're going to give it a try. I'll let everyone know how it is. Thanks for the Welcome! =)
  • Christine Jones

Woofstock was really nice! There were several Pems out-and-about! I was really surprised. It was nice seeing other Corgis! It is an annual thing. There were many vendors and displays. There were tracking demonstrations, agility try-outs, and Victoria Stillwell was there! I would definitely go again; with more cash next time! =)
  • Alyssa & Chris W.

That sounds like it was a great time. After hearing your review, now we'll have to check it out next year. It sounds like you guys had fun.
  • Aber, Ragnar and Kelso

Hi we are Aber and Ragnar, 10 years and 9 weeks respectively. We live in Nanticoke, near Wilkes-Barre. Looking forward to meeting some other "locals".
  • Aber, Ragnar and Kelso

Oddly, I know exactly where Hop Bottom is. Sounds good. As soon as he's done his shots, Ragnar will be needing some doggie socialization.
  • Christine Jones

Welcome Shannon, Lenny, Abner, and Ragnar! We live in Fountain Springs, about 1 hour from W-B. We sometimes take the Boys to Nay Aug, River Commons, and Kirby Parks for walks. I esp. love the Petco at the Arena Hub Plaza. So when we venture there for nail trims and Hund 'N Flocken we stop at one of the parks! We also do the Luzerne SPCA Bark at the Park dog walk in Oct. at Francis Slocum State Park.
  • Tess & Teri

Do we have anyone from the Bucks County, PA area in this group?
  • Matt & Hilliary

We're in Bensalem :) Getting blasted by snow today. Second biggest snow storm the area has ever recorded!
  • Tess & Teri

Same here in Perkasie. We have a foot of snow! Tess was funny this morning jumping around through it in the backyard!
