"Mismarked" Corgis

A community for all of those lovely "mismarked" corgis out there! If your corgi is unique, with markings not normally seen on standard breed corgis, then this is the group for you!

We love our mismarked babies!!!
  • Ashley Kelty

Here's the group for our lovely mismarked corgis! Here's hoping we can get a few members, it would certainly be nice to get to know other mismarked babies!
  • Ashley Kelty

Hooray for another mismarked baby! Makes me happy to know that there's so many of these babes out there!
  • Ashley Kelty

Miso's breeder told us how she came about with her mismarks. Her sire has a lot of white in his collar, and as a result, occasionally a mismark pops out of his litters. That's how our Miso came about, and I couldn't love my unique corgi more. Everyone loves her as well!
  • LORRAINE

I was told by Wilfs breeder that he wouldnt be good enough to show because he has too much white on his face
  • Amy and Ivy

Ivy was the only mismark in her litter too. Her siblings are potential show dogs, and her breeder even said something to the effect that she wished Ivy had their markings because then she would have the perfect show dog. But I'm glad she didn't, because now she is all ours! And personally I think they are way cuter than any show dog! I mean, come on, LOOK at them.
  • David

Hi! Yoda may look normal, but he is mismarked. The line in the middle of his face is a way off center. I have never seen it in any Corgi before!
  • Ashley Kelty

Miso is the only mismark in her litter. The others looked show-worthy, but then again, I wasn't looking for a show-worthy dog. Also, I'm under the belief that Mindy (our breeder) breeds corgis as pets, not as show dogs!

I'm sure Miso wouldn't be good to show, because of all the white on her face. I don't care! She is the funnest little puppy I've ever had!
  • David

Miso has the cutest little face, she looks like a pirate with eye patch. Arr......
  • Ashley Kelty

    Thank you! :D
  • Lil' Guinness

Guinness looks like he has black eyeliner on! What a manly dog!!
  • Marie Ploof

Look at my cute mismatch face =].
  • Maryann & Henderson

Henderson is my mismarked Cardi boy (the only one in his litter, too). What a bunch of cuties all these mismarks are!!
  • Ashley Kelty

Henderson has such a cute little patchwork face! I love it!
  • Sam and Finley

I love creatively colored corgis best!! =) This is the first I've seen a group were there are a lot with "pirate patches," as we've come to call them-- a patch of color over one eye and mostly white on the other half of the face. Finn has one, and she has a little mohawk that runs between her eyes and up her face between her ears-- I assumed it was from the difference in fur textures, but I don't really know. Does anyone else with a pirate patch have that, too?

Henderson-- I LOVE your coloring, and I looove the nose bit the best I think!

Marie Ploof is soooon cute! Look at those great eyebrow dots!

Yes, this confirms it. "mismarks" are zee best!! <3
  • Virginia Mazelin

Siana is also "mismarked" with her gorgeous half brindle, half white face. She is called the Phantom by the caretakers at Playcare. She dresssed as a pirate last halloween, but it is VERY hard to find a headpiece to fit those big beautiful ears!
  • Ashley Kelty

Glad to see our group of unique mismarks growing so much!

Finley is as cute as a button! She almost has a scowl, like she knows she's better than you because she's a mismark!
  • Davey

Yay for mismarked corgis! These guys and gals are so cute!
  • Riley Wilson

HI, Riley is a "whitlie" which is considered a "severe fault". Luckily, he is extremely smart, very athletic, learns tricks on the second try, wonderful personality and doing great in agility training. He is marked like a fox terrier. Wouldn't trade him for anything. Love all the Corgi colors! No matter what!
  • Felix Ruffins

Hi. My name is Smokey and I'm a whiltlie. I've never told anyone that before...
  • Hana

Hello. Hana's white marking at on her face is a shape of flame.
  • Sarah Sanders

  • Sarah Sanders

Ack!  Sorry for the pic being so huge!  I'm not computer literate enough to know how to make it smaller!  :(  ANyway, so here's our little Ms. Mark!

  • Annie Marshall

    Hi there!

My Pems Hamish, Aonghus, and I just wanted to stop by and say hi!  My Aonghus has one blue eye and one brown!

  • Linda Ca

Hello!  Here's my little boy with one blue and one brown eye.
  • Suneera and Emmy

Emmy has black and brown over her right eye, and black and brown behind her ears. Her body is totally white with black spots!
  • Suneera and Emmy

Here's a picture of her spots!

  • Joe

This is the new addition to our family.  We just picked up Chloe this past Sunday.  She has one blue eye and brown eye.  Her nose also has pink in it.
  • Nicole & Emma

My Emma and her perfect pirate face.

  • Cheryl Coons

I get so angry when someone that is a breed "snob" makes a camment about my fur kids not being show worthy. Like they are rejects...my Bailey is a fluff and my Zoey has a white ring around her middle and they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL to me! I can't imagine loving a so-called breed standard any more. :)

  • Fleagirl

Meet Winnie, my "mismarked" corgi. She has one brown eye and one blue eye. And she is absolutely beautiful!

  • Cindi & Twinkie

This is Logan.  He has what his breeder calls a "dirty face."  We call it handsome!

  • candice sanchez

Our little TANK has half his nose covered have only seen one other dog like that, and he was cute. So we picked him :)
  • Cindi & Twinkie

Tank looks a little like Logan did a itty-bitty pup.  Tank has a nice bright blaze though.  What a cutie.

  • candice sanchez

Lol Logan looks like the opposite of tank. Together they would be the perfect puppy
  • Megan

Hello, When i bought my corgi (roscoe) i was a little confused when i started looking them up online. About a week ago i was researching again and found your group for mismarked corgis. It explains it all!! I was kinda mislead when i bought him but we love him dearly! We love his patch and wouldnt trade him for the world.

  • Megan

Roscoe when he was about 9 weeks getting caught digging a hole in our backyard :)

  • Cindi & Twinkie

Welcome Megan!  When I first saw the picture of Rosco, all I could say was "Oh my gawd, dat ting is cute!"  Then I regained my composure and ability to form coherent sentences.  I am curious what the breeder told you about his makings that make you feel like you were mislead.  As you might have read, ours called Logan a "dirty face."  My mother bred Saint Bernards while I was growing up and mismarked is all I could think but we wanted him all the same.  Maybe all the semantics are design to give our unique kids good self-esteem?

  • Nicole & Emma

Excuse me, sorry to be nosy. What was her reasoning for not giving you papers?

  • Sidney and Angie

angie is a red and white who has one black stripe on her docked tail.

  • Cathie

This is Sky at 8 weeks. His left ear is white and he has a "butterfly" nose. You can see a bit of the white of his left eye, which may correct itself as he grows older. We love our little mismarked fellow!

  • Cindi & Twinkie

    Really Cute!!

  • Lindsay, Fae, and Jimmy

Awwww Sky is a sweetie! I really wanna boop that nose!
