Hey Juel, I'm in fortuna! There's a breeder up in McKinleyville and one in Loleta. Also, there is a Cardi breeder in Arcata, kennel name Aldergate. They focus breeding blue merle cardis.

    Welcome to MyCorgi

Well, welcome to Fortuna. The newest CalFire dispatcher is my best friends daughter in law. As I said small town! But you know all that if you were in Willow Creek.

Well... good luck with joining our group we're number 17 out of most people in the group! I'm so happy! Anyways... well come to mycorgi.com! :)

Hi There, Thank you for the compliment! I've always wanted a corgi for as long as I could remember. They are all around perfect dogs, not to big, not to small. Perfect for a large home with lots of land or a small apartment in the city. Eowyn is terribly submissive with dogs and humans. I sometimes worried about her when I took her to the dog park, but as she's gotten older, she is starting to stand her ground now. When the bigger dogs get to rough with her, she tells them off and warns them that they've gone to overboard with her. My twin's Borzoi sometimes gets to rough with her, but she gives him a quick nip on the nose. Our other Corgi stood his ground very well, even against huge rottweilers. He wasn't afraid of anything. I think most corgis stand their ground wonderfully.

Oh and about the question about Cardis or Pems, I really wanted a blue merle Cardigan Welsh Corgi, but here in Vegas no one even knows they exists. I've only seen one cardigan welsh corgi here. At the time breeders were selling them for about $1,500 and up in other states and there was just no way I could have afforded that. Pembrokes are much easier to find here in Vegas, so I decided to go for one and Eowyn is what I got!

Welcome Juel. Here's hoping you find your perfect corgi.

    Dear Juel,

My first Corgi, Reinhardt, a red and white Welsh Pembroke, herded visitors throught the front gate, then throught the front door into the house. It was a scream - the whole process would be reversed when they left. And if they did not get a move on they got a nasty nip on the ankle.

Never a dull moment with a Corgi.
