I live in Casa Grande with my Husband, My Pemmi, Maggie May, a little chichuaua/daushand mix, Pinky, 2 cats, Cutie and Patootie, and a 200 gallon fish tank full of fish.
About My Corgi(s):
Maggie May will be 7 years old this March. She's a little tri color, runt of the littler. Only one of 7 that lived passed 3 days. She's definately my heart dog. She's bright, mischevious, true and loves life. I can't imagine life without her....When we first met, she was just under 3 months old......she ran down this long hall, and she was the funniest little thing I had ever seen, nothing matched on her....short little legs, long back, big head and these big ol' bat ears.........but I wouldn't trade her for anything......She evened out nicely....
Welcome to the group! Maggie May is adorable! I lived in Phoenix in the early 90's on the corner of 15th Avenue and Glendale. Was supposed to be good for people with upper respiratory issues - it just made mine worse unfortunately. I think Phoenix is one of the best laid out cities that takes hardly anytime at all to figure out where you're going.
Lynne, Maggie is beautiful. She has love written all over her face! My middle name is spelled the same as your first. Not often you see it with an e on the end.
You're right about "why change their name". . .when I got Sid, he was from a Japanese couple. . .I think he still speaks some Japanese? LOL. . .I kept his name cause I liked it and it fit him well. . .when I sent for Babs & Cloe (they came from the same breeder in MN but different moms). . .I also kept their names. . .it's almost like they knew "who" they were and answer to it very well. . . .Cloe is a real talker. . .you want to eat? aarrrh. . .you want to go outside? aarrrh. . .then she'll come over to me and want to get on my lap and if I'm doing something, she starts to aarrrh so I can pick her up. What a baby!!!
