My name is Erika. I live with my wonderful fiance, Eric, and our three pets in our new house in Jonesboro, GA. We have a one year old Corgi named Arby, a big fluffy black cat called Jezzi, and in June the newest member of our family will come home - Windi, a baby girl Corgi.
I have had my Corgi for almost nine months now and he has been an excellent companion. He has far exceeded any list I could have ever created for my perfect pet. How do you explain to someone who doesn’t own a Corgi that having one is the same as having another human in the house? I think any Corgi Owner knows exactly what I mean! Arby truly is a big dog in a small package. He is a real people pleaser and the biggest baby I have ever met. There’s nothing he wants more then to cuddle up by my side. He has also turned out to be a real clown and I always have a smile on my face watching his antics. The games he creates amuses him and myself for hours on end. He is loyal and protective of my and my fiancé. There are so many things that I love about Arby from his cute bunny-butt to the way he actually "smiles" at me. (I have pictures to prove it!) He is sensitive and has great energy. You can actually see the wheels turning in his head as he thinks about how to solve anything that I ask of him. He learned sit, down, shake, roll-over, high five, drop it, and fetch all by the age of 10 weeks. He is so wonderful. I even love the way he shares his hair (LOL) Arby "Legless" Kingsley just wouldn’t be a Corgi without all of these traits.
Eric and I have adopted a second corgi puppy. She is Arby's half sister by their father. She was born only a couple of weeks ago. She will be coming home in Mid-June. We can't wait to welcome Windi "Lowrider" Terese into the family!
