About My Corgi(s):
Walter & Edith are best friends. They wrestle and play together. They go for walks and rides together. They even share their toys! Both of these wonderful dogs came from shelters in the past year. So many great dogs end up in shelters...I am a huge advocate of rescue!

Walter rescued me only a week after my sweet Maggie crossed the rainbow bridge. He is about 4 years old, gentle and laid back. Walter came to us, skinny, wormy, hair falling out, and full of fleas. He became very ill only a week after he found us...but by then we already loved him. He was a real diamond in the rough. Today he is in great health, a happy, handsome, funny, guy.

Edie has only been with us about 3 months. Our vet estimates her to be around 8 months old. She came from a local rescue where no one had inquired after her in the two weeks she'd been there. She is a petite beauty and was obviously well cared for. Edie is fiesty but has a very sweet temperment. She is fast and smart. I'd love to see her try some agility training!
I have:
Pembroke

    Hi There!

    Welcome. We have slightly similar stories. But I got my female first, and then I had to get one more. My male is about 4 years old, but came to me in the same condition as your male.

    Molly and Tigger send their hellos to Edith and Walter!

    Your one Corgi looks similar to my Merlyn! Love your pictures.

    Welcome by the way. I love this site and I'm sure you will too.

    Thanks for the comment. I can't say no to the little fur-kids. They do love comfort. lol We rescued our Chow mix too. I think that what Radar went through was sad and now he's starting to come out of his shyness. He's running around the house right now when we say...Whooo Hooo. Very cute and funny. I want him to feel loved and accepted.

    Rhonda- thanks for your nice comments. I see you've added some photos. They are so cute! Walter is a big boy (just like my tigger) and Edie is petite (just like my molly).
