My boyfriend and I are both students in Jacksonville Florida (but originally from Tampa & Atlanta) that have a crazy and wonderful life thanks to a special dog named Cody! We didn't know a thing about Corgis before we got him. We saw a Corgi at a pet store one day and said we have to have that kind of dog so we called the first name in the paper that had Corgi pups. That same day we went to see them and we both saw the smallest pup and said that is the one. He was the runt but he was the cutest and had the most expressive eyes and we couldn't leave without him. Three years later and we both believe that impulsively buying Cody was the best decision we have made!
About My Corgi(s):
Cody is crazy! He is not even like a dog, he is more like an actual person. He is so loving and loyal and he makes us laugh and smile every day. He loves to cuddle and play more than anything. He also likes to FRAP and lay "frog-style". He likes to swim but gets a little scared sometimes. He has a weird interest in water bottles and has to play with them whenever we finish drinking one. Cody's favorite place to lounge is in our bed right up against the pillows and sometimes under the covers! Cody also loves to give kisses and obey commands for treats. Unfortunately, he also likes to bark at anything and everything, chase cars, herd people and children, jump up on your lap regardless of what you are doing, beg for food, bother you until you play with him, growl at unfamiliar things including people, dogs, cats, and inanimate objects, play with water from hoses, in baths, and from his water bowl, toss things around the apartment when he is left alone including shoes, pillows, blankets, clothes, and whatever else he can find lying around, and finally, as Ceaser would say, he loves being pack leader! As you can see, Cody is a typical Corgi and I wouldn't change him for the world!
Hi Jen and Cody!! Cody does look like Boomer, esp. the face! =). You are all the way in Florida, so i dont think they have the same parents. Hey in some pictures, it looks like Cody was shaved or has really light-color fur??
Oh my gosh. Deisel is so comical in the snow, it is the funniest thing ever. He does great as long as we're all running around and playing, but after that he gets cold...his body shivers, its quite funny. I have never had a dog nor seen a dog with such personality before. These pictures were actually from last year, we are hoping to get some snow soon. I love watching Deisel play in the snow!
Thanks! My dogs have their own teritory. My retrievers are in my front yard and the rest are in my back yard. Everyday is an adventure for me, especially when Oscar is having a new way to get out from his cage, he is so smart
