I'm a 23 year old student. I love to go running and take my puppers out with me. I'm going to school for Marine Biology/ Nutrition/ Personal Fitness Trainer. I love to workout, go camping, be outdoors, travel, sail, and just live a healthy happy life. I love my corgi so much!
About My Corgi(s):
I have a pembroke welsh corgi named chip.
My corgi story: One night I was sitting at work and the shop was all closed up. I was sitting in the office looking in the newspaper at the classifieds. I always went through the dog part to see if any corgi's were being sold in my area. There just happened to be a corgi for sale that night in the newspaper. The next morning I woke up very early and called the people. They said that there were about 8 people on there way to look at her. So I rushed over there. On my way there I realized that she was a girl and that I was going to name my first corgi after my father (chip). So I thought 'oh well I guess I will have to figure out another name for her or keep the one they chose for her'... I got there and no one else had showed up yet. She was sitting in her kennel shaking her little nub of a tail. The lady let her out and she came right to me. I played with her and ultimately fell in love with her. She was 13 weeks old with one ear straight up and one ear down. I asked the lady what her name was. The lady replied "Molly". My sister laughed and I laughed because that is my name. As I bent down to pet her I realized that she had a little chip missing out of the top of her right ear. So I looked at my sister and I said "I'm going to name her chip, it was meant to be!" She has been the most wonderful dog I have ever been around. I've taught her tricks and she loves to go on my runs with me. Everywhere that I go with her people are always complimenting her smile and how friendly she is. I even got my boyfriends parents to adopt a corgi because they love her so much. Owning my corgi has been one of the greatest experiences.
Thanks...your story is great! super sweet...pixie is also full pembroke but super small for her age. i guess that's what happens when you're the runt of the litter. 9 weeks 2 lbs. i love her to pieces tho.
