Profile Information:

Hometown:
Moved from Maryland in 1990, Tampa is home now.
About Me:
A proud and thankful corgi mom. Found my first tri bunny butt in the early 90s. The kids in the neighborhood called her cotton tail (her name was Paisley) and she soon had a rescued brother (Munchkin) from a puppy mill. They will always be in my heart and I will always have a little bunny butt living in my home.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Evie arrived 5/07 and is the sweetest tri and a real little lady. She loves the world, chasing birds, squirrels and the hose when my husband is watering the flowers.
Toby was rescued 1/09 and is wonderful. He and Evie are great friends but he doesn't like other dogs. We've been working on modifying his behavior and he's slowly coming around. They both love to go to the beach, swim, roll in the sand and just chill out.
I have:
Pembroke

    HI - I love the black headed tris. Our corigs love to chase the birds out of the yard. Thats funny - the watering thing is one of their favorites as well.

    Aw, that's awesome that Sukie got a great new home! Didn't you just adopted a new pup too? Or am I senile? I was going to guess that she was a corgi/chow mix cause she kind of has tri look too her. But I don't know what the Finnish spitz looks like either...must google!

    Oh if there's blue on the tongue then definitely a chow! I didn't realize that Sharpeis are related to them--they have the blue tongue too. Good luck integrating Toby into the house. If need be, keep everyone on leashes until it works out. If he isn't fixed, that should help too. Oh, we had to put my mom's dog and my boyfriend's dog in a kennel facing each other and let them bark it out. Got home and they were good to go.

    Thanks--Cloud has a lot of fun with her. For the most part, he's very gentle with her. But we still have to do some supervision. He loved her from the start, I never saw his butt wiggle so much! We are definitely a wiggle butt family.

    I hope the crate things work out. My mom's dog is alpha female--she's the second oldest in the bunch, but I took her on for a few days to get her to lose weight. My mom is terrible about that. A chihuahua/pug loves food as much as a pem does I think.
