I have two grown children and three almost grown grandchildren. My husband and I have been married forever and yet I still love him. We both retired this year. We spend seven months at our Jersey shore house a year and 5 in Pennsylvania. Both of us are enjoying retirement a lot!!!! The girls are really enjoying us at home with them.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Carrie our black headed tri is the most loving and sweet dog I have ever known. We found her after losing another corgi (Rosie) very suddenly and looking online she was the only one still available within driving distance. She was meant to be with us and help heal our hearts.
Song is our younger one who is mostly red and white with outlines of black on her. She is very vocal as her name implies. After a lot of kisses and love from Carrie we decided to become a two dog family again for the first time in twenty years. Now there is hardly ever a dull moment in our lives.
Hi Dot.....Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving! It's always nice when you don't have to cook the entire meal year after year! Since we live in South Carolina and away from our family, all in Pennsylvania, I do the cooking! Kids came home from college and we had a nice long weekend together, so I did not mind cooking the big dinner.
Boy....... PP&L and Walnutport are very familiar to us......small world!
Does your sister still live in Walnutport?
Dot, I got Max because my husbands dog passed away aqnd he was beside himself. Max has made a big difference in our lives (not always good) He is such a sweetie that we may get another in spring. Since the nest is empty they fill alot of room.
Song - as soon as I read that, I thought, what a neat name! And what beautiful dogs you have! I love this site. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and enthusiastic about our furbabies. I'm so glad I found it!
Oh no, MORE barking...not exactly looking forward to that, lol! You're corgis are so pretty--do they get along just fine? Thats my main concern--making sure EVERYONE is getting along. Oh, and thanks for the comment:)
He's doing REALLY well, and yea, they drain themselves out playing all day--of course they're always ready for a walk! Juni DOES have a problem sharing treats though. My husband will usually give her some, while I give Max some--she's good with sharing the water bowl though, and doesn't have a problem if he comes and pics at her food while she's still eating...its just those darn treats, lol! She's doing better though...Thanks for asking:)
I'm due in a couple of weeks, yikes!! Just trying to distract myself with house cleaning, lol! BTW, do you know if theres some kind of virus on mycorgi?? Trina & Cooper says she got worm on here:(
His ears still aren't up, but we're just being patient. My husband is sure they'll be up soon. We're having a girl and STILL can't decide on a name!!! I was thinking of turning to the mycorgi community for some ideas/suggestions--I'm running out of time, lol!!
When we first got him at 9 weeks he looked sable... then turned to red/white... Then around 6-7 months old he started to get black all over him, his back, his tail and around his neck. I think his current coloring will be the permanent one.. I hope! I love his coloring! Destro had a marking just like your sable... lightly peppered on top of his head and around his neck then it turned jet black.
