About Me:
My very first dog of my very own is Wally, a red and white Corgi. Because of him I got involved in dog rescue work and have ended up with 3 more Corgis, all rescue dogs. We also have a rescue German shepherd and two cats. I tell all my neighbors that I have so many Corgis because I'm trying to be the Queen of my road!
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Wally is my first Corgi and I purchased him from a breeder. He is almost 9 and lives in his own universe.
I found Gordon on the web; he had been abandoned at a trailer park in a community about 2 hours from where we live. I had things arranged to get him into a Corgi rescue, but somewhere along the line; he ended up staying. :)
Alice is the only female we have and she is the most unusual physically and personality-wise. The person that gave her up believed she was a pure Corgi, however I'm convinced she's Blue Heeler/Corgi, so we call her a Blue Corgi. She is about 3. When I went to get Alice potentially adopted, my husband informed me he just "couldn't part with her" - Corgi #3
The latest addition is Ramsey and he just turned 1, May 8. He was given up by his owners because he and the other dog in the house didn't get along. They didn't know what to do so they kept him kenneled from the time they got him at 8 weeks. I had a foster home lined up for him until I could get him adopted or sent to a Corgi rescue, but that fell through - Corgi #4. :) We've had him since January.
I have:
Pembroke

    Im thinking the same thing, Jeanette. You are the lucky one to be able to have your corgi family. They are lucky to have you for their mom. Enjoy them. I hope that someday I can have the same story to tell and end up with a bigger corgi family.

    Yes we are pretty close to each other, I got maxine from a small breeder just south of Wamego. Would like to get another one, but she is very very spoiled and pretty much a daddy's girl, doesn't like to share me with anyone.

    Yep, Heidi's definitely a character! Wow, I'm jealous of all the Corgis you have! I especially like the dog bed in the one picture that looks like it's made out of blue jeans (and thus looks like a giant lap to sit on)...very nice. :) There are never too many Corgis. Cheers!

    Pat is really good. She raises french bulldogs, too. There is another member named Julie who got her Corgi, Caleb, from Pat in July, 2008. I know Rex was there at that time. Thanks for the nice comments about them both. Everyone who has seen Rex's pics have something unique to say about him. One thing, he is strong as an ox! When we play, I always come away with bruises. He sometimes drives Cheyenne nuts because he wants to play all the time! And then she growls at him, and he runs away like a scared pup! He sometimes gets really fed up, too, and just stands his ground barking away at her. It's lively around here!!

    Your Corgi collection is outstanding. Bless you for taking in poor, homeless Corgis. The puppy stage is cute but difficult...I lucked out that mine get along so well.
