About Me:
My husband and I have 'adopted' our daughter's Corgi and are enjoying him so much. We knew nothing about Corgis before this and are learning every day. I work in a photography studio and my husband is a chiropractor

UPDATE 8-6-11 We rescued a 2 year old Corgi from an animal shelter and have named him Norm. We have had him for 1 week so far and things are going good. I think he's going to be a wonderful dog.

Gretzky is a Welch Pembroke Corgi. He is 8 years old. I've noticed recently that he's getting grey in his face. It makes me sad.
Maybe our new Corgi, Norm, will perk Gretzky up and keep him young.

    Gretzky is a very good looking Corgi. My daughter actually talked me into getting our first ( Dingo ) she had done the research on them. I'm so glad she did talk me into him. Just wanted to say hi to you and Gretzky.

    Chespstow fell off the boat the second time we took him out. He did sink fast but was up swimming by the time I jumped in and helped hand him to my husband. (thankfully it was summer and not cold winter water) The pontoon boat is about 3 feet from the water level. We took him to an island on the lake and let him recover on land for 20 minutes. Then we got back in the water and played with him and let him swim with us. He seemed to forget the incident and still loves the boat and water. But he is more careful about hanging over the side.

    HI Deb and Gretzky! I don't know if you realized that we are neighbors here in Mn as we live in Rochester, not to far from you I don't think?? It was really great of you to take Gretzky into your home!! Do you know where your daughter originally got him? He is a gorgeous boy, he reminds me of our late Phinneas, check out our profile..... it looks like he loves the boat and water!!!
