About My Corgi(s):
Cooper and Nora are by far the best dogs ever! They are absolutely inseparable, having to be with one another at all times. They came from Sandy Johnson at Sunny Garden Farm Corgis in Oneida, IL.
Grady came from a family in Bowling Green, MO. This was their first litter, they do not have a kennel. Their son does FFA and wanted to breed his dogs, and ta-dah.......that's how I got Grady.
Izzy came from Connie Whan over at Davenitch Cardigans.

Cooper sounds a lot like my Mitchell. He gets nervous sometime and shakes. He is always up for snuggling too. Cooper is adorable. I want to snuggle with him. :)

Thats a shame and that is due from not being properly socialized at the imprinting stage. Sometimes they never get over it and takes alot of time and patience. Repetition, consistency, and persistency w/care over time is about all you can do. Sometimes if they have another dog they buddy up too will help in these situations. Just what ever situation it is make the time for him..don't go rushing thru the store to get what you want..stroll through the store and play w/toys..eat a treat..let people pet him and even you just sit on the floor w/him to comfort him some but some of this is cowboy up and lets walk like a gentlemen. An obedience class would help too. Even just a walk in the park where the scenery is familiar but you have the traffic too. Some of his anxiety could be stored up energy which will make him more nervous so really let him run at home and play and take a few minutes at home to calm down and relax and then hit it. Some of the highly suggested training methods is NILF and even a behavioralist. I do suggest that you ask D.Campbell this same question..she is very well informed and involved in the Corgi Community w/years of experience. She is a member here on the site. Good luck.

Thank you so very much..I couldn't agree w/you anymore. hehe I love my dogs and am very happy w/what I have. As far as how many litters I have...I don't have it down to a science but am pacing myself to have a litter a season, so about 4 a year, in 2008 I had 3 which is including the litter I have now. I do have a litter due on Valentines Day by Meagan and Winston. I'm not sure she is definitely pregnant but little signs I notice tells me she is but one can't be sure.

Hi Krystal....we are in IL too....southwest suburbs (just saw your post on the main page)....where are u in IL?
  • Alicia

Hi Krystal! Cooper is adorable! You're not too far from me at all! We should hook up in Bloomington with the dogs this summer sometime. It has been hard to find other corgi owners in central Illinois. :O( I have a friend in Rantoul who has a 3 yr old Corgi boy named Kimble. She isn't currently on Mycorgi. Chloe is our little angel. Just 3 1/2 mo. right now. Keep in touch!
  • Alicia

Let me know if you hear of anyone else around this central part of Illinois! We'll have to plan something for spring. I'm so sick of this weather!!!! And it's going to be sooo cold the next few days. Not great trying to potty train my youngest!!!

  • Brenda and Gary

That would be awesome. First, I need to find a new furry baby to love.
  • Jenn & Sophie

Thanks for responding to my blog. If it is a loose knee cap, what can be done to help it?
  • Jenn & Sophie

You are right. We just got home from the vet and he is suggesting surgery. I am going to do my homework and get a second opinion. Thanks again!
  • Brenda and Gary

Will do. I left an email with a bloodline breeder here in Springfield. Hopefully they will return my email with good news, or maybe they can point me to a breeder. I'm really wanting another furry baby.
  • Brenda and Gary

Thanks for the info on the breeder.
  • Trenton and Denise

We got him from Carolyn Cannon out of C-myste cardigans in Oregon

Hello Krystal and Cooper, you can never have enough friends. I loved the picture of Cooper sitting on your back. Our Reecee likes to do the same and does not like it when you try to get up. Reecee is our second Corgi, we lost our little girl Jinx to spinal disorder and found out when you own a Corgi you just can't live without them.
