My name is Amanda and I live in Reno, Nv. My husband, Quincy, and I just brought home our second corgi. We have Chloe the tri colored who is 2 years old and Lou the red and white who is 7 months old. We love being outside, whether hiking, camping or just taking the dogs out!
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Chloe is a tri-colored Pembroke female, who is a ball of fire! She loves to be outside, especially in the snow! She's not afraid to voice her opinion, either. A very vocal pup. She likes to go on walks, but likes runs even better. She runs through the sprinklers like its a shower and she prefers that over a bath. OK with me! She loves playing with any dog or human that she comes in contact with. Play fetch with her once and she won't leave you alone! Oh yeah, if you have a tennis ball....be prepared to watch the nub go CRAZY!!!
Lou just entered our family today (11/8/09)! We were happy to give him a forever home when we found his previous owner was only 18 and just didn't have time for him. He needs some work, training wise, but he is a love bug! We don't think he had many toys at his old house because he doesn't really know what to do with the truck load of toys we have here!
The two dogs have so far done really well together. Lots of playing and slobbering on each other! Playing until they both pass out!
i have to say.. that Chloe has one of the prettiest faces that I have ever seen.. thanks for the compliment!! keep us in touch and keep adding pics.. we love them!1
Chloe is sooo cute. I know what u mean by vocal, my Basil is the exact same way. But he doesn't like water at all though. He'll glare and give u the shoulder for almost two days after u give him a bath.
my husband is currently working in sparks, i only see him weekends, boo! our next litter is due new years! i mated our female penny with an amaxing red white male out of orangevale. the pups will be pretty petite around 20 pounds and all red and white. i cant wait to see them! nice to meet you too!
I love your pictures. Chloe is perfect! I think my fave is the close up of her smiling! I cant wait to see your new pup when you get him. Im glad to hear Corgis like the snow. We sure get plenty of that and I expect it any time now. Too bad I cant hook a plow up to Laverne. She certainly has enough energy to clear my driveway in no time...lol.
hello dear. i know you only wanted a male but i only had two pups this litter. one boy for the sire and one little red white girl with great markings. if you want pics i can send via email but only from my cell phone as computer isnt working with digital camera. let me know. how are u?
no, we wont breed penny again. but if all dna tests come back good on her daughter we will breed cowface in 18 months, however......we are moving back to hawaii by then. so sorry! glad to see your girl is getting so big.
I currently have some 5 weeks old red and whites - 3 males and a female - very, very cute - Porter is the Sire. Dolly is the Dam. I will try to post some pictures on my page tonight! Thanks for adding me as a friend - I love the name Chloe!! I may have to use that for a puppy!! She is really a doll!
Thanks for finding us. Yes Corgis are a rare sight in our neck of the woods. So of course you get a lot of attention on outings. We just had our first N. Nevada Corgi date yesterday at Fuji park here in Carson City. If your ever down this way give us a shout. We would love to get the bunny butts together.
Chloe is a cutie! Our baby Tucker just turned 5 months last week. He is a tank, weighing in at 20lbs. If you want a really good breeder to find your next pup, I recommend Whimsy Corgis. They are in Idaho but a fabulous breeder and has been well worth the drive there. Tucker is an awesome pup!!
I forgot to mention. If you go to our page and watch the Whimsy pups video you will see how beautiful these pups are. They are also a bloodline that is low to no shed coats. Tucker hardly sheds at all and he has a really soft coat. He was sable when we brought him home but he is a Red & White now. LOL!
