Welcome Parker! got a name for your corgi to be yet?
  • Corgi Mom

Welcome to the group! Hope to see pictures of your furbabies soon. ;-)
  • Cindi

Glad you're here! Can't wait to see pics when you get your corgi-baby!
  • Parker

No name for my Corgi just yet, I want to meet her or him first!
  • Natalie, Lance &Tucker

Welcome, cant wait to see pictures.
  • Amy Parish

That's so true! Thanks for the great encouragement!
  • REB

Can't wait to see your puppy pictures! I have a tabby that looks so much like yours! He is still adjusting to the corgi. You are going to love having a corgi puppy so much. Mine is headstrong but so loveable. I have never had a puppy that could bring so much laughter. I do have an ongoing jealously problem with my tabby and have to give him some special time alone with me.
  • Ginny and Diggory

So tomorrow is the big day, right? I bet you are so excited!! Hope all goes well for you!
  • Juel

Welcome! could you take a few minutes, and tell me why you chose a Corgi? and if you have any advise for someone who is thinking about bringing a new baby home?
  • Mandy and Lori

Thank-you for the birthday wishes!!! ((BIG HUGS))!!
  • Kate

Thanks for the nice comment on my blog! Your little Grover looks SO cute! And I love the kitty too... looks like a bigger version of my Maggie. Grover was born on the 25th of January so our little ones are about the same age!
  • Patricia

You have one cute puppy there!!!
  • john7747

Hi Parker- how is it going with corgi and kitties?? We have a puppy and kitten (see profile picture lol) and they get along pretty well... a lot of "playing" that can get a little rough though.
  • Terry Ramsbotham

Thank you so very much! What a beautiful face Grover has and what is not to love about his polka dotted tummy!
  • Adam & Brittany

Loved reading through your info - sounds just like us! I am currently watching a brand new toy be torn to shreds. Grover is adorable and so is Melvin!
  • Kristen

Thank you for your kind comments. Fern is tiny and a bit underweight, but not much. I believe she was bred to be tiny. I'm guessing they threw a Jack Russel in there somewhere. With Lizzie in the 30's and fergie in the high 20's she looks so petite.
  • Juel

MY! How big we have gotten!
  • sandra

thanks for the comment to my blog....ahhhhhgility!.....yes, we keep it fun---that is what it is all about!

    smiles : )

ps, good going on obedience training....i wish i had more discipline when kaley corgi was young, for i am forever working on her recall, but it is soo much better, great recall is a must!

  • Anne

Thanks for your comments on my blog. Le-Le does not chew her toys up since she is some what tentative about them. She mostly runs around with them; sometimes if they make it outdoors they get buried. But her favorite are theses 'Skineeze stuffless" toys. I tried to google the name but came up with nothing except Orvis carries these toys but I did NOT spend that kind of money... SO we have to buy a couple more of these and our local pet store carries them. I washed and dried one and the squeak part was destroyed. I have since washed only and air dry the toys and they are fine. I will report back who manufacturer is.
  • Dannielle

Thanks! I cant wait till Saturday when I get to go visit though it will just be a teaser until Aug. 22nd when he gets to come home :o)
  • Trice

Thanks Parker! Grover is a beauty. I'm going to love being a corgi owner!
  • Natalie, Lance &Tucker

Hi! Love the pictures of your corgi! Who is the little puppy with the corgi, cute picture! I really like the bed the cat is in, is it really the cat bed or is the corgi bed?
  • Anne

I wanted to report on the unstuff toys. We just Le-Le a new one from Pet Supplies Plus yesterday. They come in two sizes mini 17" long and the regular which are 27". The mini she came carry easier but she likes both. Here is the name" Plush Skinneeez" made by Spot. You should be able to find online.
  • Sir Riley of Pembroke

thanks for the positive message we can really use it.
  • Ju Lo

Hehe, well you can lurk if you want to. I just wanted to let you know I always welcome comments. :) Sometimes if I make a good post there's an actual discussion. It's pretty neat. :)

I forgot to mention, Grover and Theo totally look alike! Theo's blaze on his forehead is of course different, but their facial expressions are so similar it's creepy!
  • Gail's Lil' Gizmo

Ihave to say..Grover is SO CUTE.. He sounds like he is quite smart and a has a great personality.. All corgis have their own unique adorable personalities...
  • Gail's Lil' Gizmo

The puppy in our pictures is my daughter's baby boy named Yogi. He is from the same breeder that Gizmo came from. I puppysit on my days off.. and Gizmo has gotten quite attached to him. It is alot of fun taking them to the dog park, beach, etc. It's funny when Yogi came into the family.. all of a sudden.. Gizmo seems to be the older "wise" one. LOL Yogi is a joy though .. so energetic and funny.. I do want another one one day.. but 3 dogs right now would just be too much. We also have a yellow lab that is 12 that Gizmo has been raised with. He adores the lab.. so when Chance goes to heaven.. then we may look for another corgi to add to our family. Meanwhile.. Yogi is a great "visitor" and they all get along great... I just love him..
  • Gail's Lil' Gizmo

Gizmo really changed between 18 months and two years. I try very hard to watch how much he eats so that he can still run with ease and his joints aren't stressed. Their chest comes out into almost a point.. it is not shaped like other dogs - when they mature. Yogi is so lean looking compared to Giz. My daughter thinks Gizmo is fat.. but i have seen alot heavier corgis in adulthood. He weighs about 27 lbs. And he only eats 1 cup of grain-free food daily and minimum treats. maybe the baby carrot here and there.. he loves those!! Yogi is coming over tomorrow so.. it should be a fun day..
  • Ju Lo

Hey, no problem! I'm so glad Grover loves them! Theo actually took a little warming up, so you're lucky! :D
  • King Koby of the Treasure Coast

Thanks so much! We are doing great! Koby enjoys his playpen and is getting along well with my cats!
  • Paddy and Karley the Corgies

Darn! Sorry about it being discontinued. Most pet stores carry the same kind. I find that pededge.com has the best prices. I use the playpen in the house when he has to stay home alone (I'm not comfortable having him outside without any supervision). Let me know if it works out for Parker
  • Paddy and Karley the Corgies

oops I mean...let me know if it works out for Grover...sorry about that : )
  • Bev Levy

HI, If he limps later or the next day you know he has overdone it. Unfortunately corgis are so lively they really won't monitor themselves. Of course that lively personality is part of the reason we are so drawn to them.
  • Tina and Cooper

Grover sounds like a sweet little guy,,So Sorry to hear about his hip problems,,hope he gets better soon :o) ~tina~ and Cooper
  • Tina and Cooper

    Love your pic's too :o)
