About Me:
I'm a Pembroke Welsh Corgi lover. Had my 1st. Corgi when I was 9 years old (a gift from my Dad). Bought him while we were living in England. Corgi No. 2, Roy was bought in Singapore. He was imported from Perth, Australia. Just passed away in April, 2006 of heart failure at the age of 11 years and 3 months. In October, 2006, we bought our present and No. 3 Corgi, Ritz in Singapore. He was imported from Melbourne, Australia.
Besides Corgis, we had a Bull Terrier, Brutus. He was actually our dog no. 2. It was locally bred and bought in Singapore.
About My Corgi(s):
I have a 2.5 years old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Ritz. His colour is red/white. He's very energetic and does not sleep much. He loves attention, tummy rubs, walks and food (not neccesarily in that order). :o)

Hi Florence! I just adore that little head tilt, it always melts my heart and she knows it!! (Getting it in a photo at just the right moment can be tough!) Ritz is such a cutie... and I love the name too!
  • Nicole & Baxter

What a beautiful little guy! :) Thanks for the naming advice, I have been on many naming sites, I think the problem is there are so many to choose from hehehe.
  • Tracie & Emmy

LOL - well I am sure Ritz is even cuter than his current fill in. ;-)
  • Junipurr

Nope, they aren't siblings. Not related at all. They are really adorable together though.
  • Karen & Bailey

Thanks Florence! ahh yours is so adorable.... =P
  • Sam

Thanks...he really not a very good reader, he just likes looking at the pictures.
  • Tracie & Emmy

Awww, thank you. I am a fan of her markings to, but I am a little prejudice since she's mine. LOL. I actually totally lucked out with her appearance... I had chosen a breeder prior to the pups being born, and they were located too far away for a visit. Both they and I wanted a female, and only two were in the liter. They kept their choice and the other became Emmy. They sent me pics as she grew up, but I sort of adopted her sight unseen! Thanks again for the compliment!
  • Shannon

Thank you. It had to be alot harder for you when your Roy passed.
  • BENZO and QUEENIE

Hi Florence. You are lucky that you were able to have a lot of dogs. Benzo is our first and we are still learning. Yes, when he looks at us, we just want to grab him and never let him go. hehehehe

Hi Florence, we get a lot of positive comments on Penelope. She is very charming as well...she loves people, cats and some dogs. Parker and Penelope are not related but are great friends. Ritz is wonderful looking dog! Enjoy him! You are truly a Corgi fan!
  • Kahlua & Tiffany

That is the cutest profile pic. He is ADORABLE.
  • Enzo

We named him after Enzo Ferrari. He has so much personality :)
  • Kona

  • Jo

Hello and thank you for checking us out! Yes four! They can be a challenge but I wouldn't have it any other way!
  • Luigi

    Haha...yes, I think I should have!!
  • Deb Shindle

I just like their bold, busy personalities better than the boys. the boys are sweeter, but not as outgoing. Since I have intact girls, boys are a pain. That means girls have to stay up, when in season, so they don't leave their smell all over and drive the boys to marking.
  • Hoogie's Family

Oh my goodness! I've seen some pictures of your corgi on google and he is one cute puppy!
  • Remy

Ritz is very cute. I'll keep you in mind for advice since you've had Corgis in your life for such a long time!
  • Jennifer

Those corgi butts drive me nutts!!!
Ritz looks very similiar to my three corgi's. Tucker is the one with the patch.
  • kayla

Ritz is so cute! Thanks for commenting on my page. I am new here and its great to meet nice people here. How big is ritz going to get? Is he still growing?
  • Melissa & Gary

Ritz is adorable ! and it sounds like he keeps you on your toes !
  • Butter

Ritz is a great name for a Corgi too. He looks adorable. How does he do with the heat in Singapore. Joy
  • Mandy

Hello! The name decision was thought out a lot. General Zod is a supervillian in the Superman comics and just happens to be a really interesting name as well. I really wanted an original name, and I have yet to meet another pet named Zod. When I went to get Zod from his littermates, he was the feisty little boss of the litter. At that moment it was settled; he had the personality of a Zod.
  • Butter

Mine has a very thick coat too, hmmm, I never thought that the coats may be thicker in the north. Are there many Corgis in Singapore?
  • Butter

That's too bad. I suppose if you have to get them from Australia, that is part of the scarcity. We live on a small island and everyone thinks ours is a "sausage dog". We have to do a lot of explaining. What part of England did you live in? My sister is married to a Brit and they live in London; we went to visit a few years ago. Actually the countryside of England looks a lot like where I live (my brother-in-law thinks so too). We loved the Cotswold and Bath; much more than London.
  • Great Basin Corgi's

We have acerage!! But I am also very actively cleaning it up - it's not bad once your Corgi gets you trained! lol
  • Alina

    Hi Florence,
Thanks so much for your kind words. We were lucky to get him and he definitely brings us happiness! He was a little behind in his socialization skills, but he's always gentle with children who want to pet him (or adults for that matter) -- loooooves attention!
    Ritz is absolutely adorable :)
  • Owen's Mom

Owen is 10 weeks... that picture was a week ago..
  • JollieEllie

    Greetings to Florence and Ritz,
Hey, do you know which breeder in Melbourne you got Ritz from?
Is he a natural bob tail or docked?
  • Mei-ling-chan

Hi Florence! It looks like Ritz and Vash do have a lot in common :D (I wonder- does your Ritz love eating grass also lol?)
  • Alla

Thanks for your comment , Florence. I am glad it's normal! :)
So, your Ritz is 2 years old now. He is such a cutie on the picture. Didn't find any recent pics though
  • Mochi

    hello! :D
  • Madog

He sure is a cutie. I looked for recent pics too. What does he look like now?
  • Monique

    Thank you, so is Ritz!
  • Tati and Corgis Laika 'n' Maple Leaf

Hi! It's Laika in the avatar (I'm still learning how to use this site!). Well, actually I didn't know too much about corgis when I bought mine, I just knew I wanted a corgi! But, indeed, her marks are very cute! Your corgi has some awesome marks as well. Ah, BTW, Maple Leaf has this name because he's redhead (and looks like pretty much the color of Maple Tree). Anyway, I'll put some pics of them both, as soon I learn who to deal with mycorgi.com!
  • April

Thanks for the Holiday wish Florence! Momo and I wish you and Ritz a Merry Christmas and a Bountiful New Year too!!!
