I'm a 40ish mother of 3 who has been married for almost 20 years. I homeschool my younger kids and keep very busy with horses, dogs, travel and learning alongside my kids.

Tag is our first Corgi, and what a delight he is. My daughter begged, worked, saved and researched for a year before I finally gave in and decided the little dog with a big dog attitude was a perfect fit for our home. Tag is proving to be the most intelligent and exciting dog we've ever owned.
We also own a corgi-mix pound puppy named Dicey. She's not as "corgi" as we would have hoped, but she's learning to become part of the family and LOVES Tag and now her new 'baby', Maverick.
Maverick is our newest addition; the tri-color I've always wanted. He's an amazing pup who shows all the breed standards; intelligence, clownish frapping, lotsa voice and a sweet temperament. He's an amazing addition to the family and has helped tamed Dicey's wild spirit.

    Welcome Liz and Tag! We live right nearbvy, in Vista. We have a small group of corgi moms that meet once a week to walk and talk, and then we have bigger meet-ups at the dog park in Rancho Bernardo (the next one is this Saturday at 11am). Please let me know if you would like to join us! I love Tag's distinctive markings...he looks like the Phantom of the Opera, way way cool!

    Where are you going for obedience? Sid has done all the classes at Kindred Spirits K9 and is finishing his supervised visits to be a Therapy Dog with Love on a Leash. :)

    Funny, my teeage daughter also begged and pleaded for years for a corgi, and we finally found Sidney. I'm so glad she convinced us to get a corgi..they are the best!

    That would be fun! No problem at all if kids come along, Sidney loves them.
