About Me:
I live on a small ranch in Texas with all our corgis,a small herd of miniature donkeys and several Paint and Quarter horses that we use primarily for reining competition. We also have a flock of laying chickens that we have for eggs.We stay pretty busy with all these animals, but we wouldn't trade it for the world.
I work as a proffesional groomer for a veterinarian and have been in this line of work for 25 years.

About My Corgi(s):
After owning and breeding Australian Cattle Dogs for a long time,I decided to have a breed that was a little more "user friendly" that would fit into more puppy buyers' lifestyles....and mine as well.I decided on Pembroke Corgis and have now owned and raised them for almost 20 years.I have raised several AKC conformation Champions,Int'l Champions,as well as many performance corgis that have titles in obedience,herding,agility,,,and many that are approved therapy dogs.As well,we have placed many pets that are the superstars in their own homes by just being the charming corgis characters that we all know and love.
I have:
Pembroke

    Welcome, I believe I have spoken to you before through e-mail, I have a son of CH Bluemoon's Uptown Attitude named Pyne-Woode Lucky Charm (Coalbee), used to be owned by Kathy Perkins. He is doing great, I don't think I spoke to you since last year when he went out on the road with Linda Williams and did quite well despite my lack of knowledge of a particular past surgery that kept him from being shown any further. If not for that, he would have easily finished his AKC title. He did however earn his Int'l title and is a very nice dog. He has a new litter on the ground from a female who also has her Int'l title and is from Belroyd Nutcracker bloodline. I am excited to see how they turn out.

    The last time I hadn't actually started showing my self but have dived right in head first this year and had a lot of fun. I hope to make it to even more this coming year. I am taking a backseat for the winter months though, ex-pen potty break in sub zero weather is a little rough and I'm not a winter person to start with. I figured you had seen Coalbee while he was being shown as I seen you had dogs entered at some of the same shows. As it turned out the accident involving his hip before Kathy got him, involved the removal of his femoral head. That might explain his lack of side gait that Linda may have mentioned, don't know that she did but she said she had mentioned side gait to some other breeders. Still not half bad for a dog with only one fully functioning hip. I only discovered that after I had his OFA x-rays done. He is quite a trooper and to love him is to know him. Quite a character.

    She is making progress but still jumpy and runs inside. I laid a pallette outside Sunday and we laid in the sun and then played ball. It kept her out for a little while but she still darts in the house when she hears a loud noise. I left the back door open and allowed her to come and go as she felt comfortable. She has a ways to go but I think she will get there :) Thanks for asking!
