I just took an early retirement and the deal with my husband was that I could get a puppy- Corgi..................
So maybe I should add a little more. I worked for the city of Redwood City for 23 years. I just happened to be in the right position, at the right time and the right age, in order to take an early retirement with a good incentive. I have wanted a Corgi for the last 3 years at least.
Both my husband and I are now retired and healthy. Besides loving Corgis, both my husband and I love hiking in the Sierra (Yosemite) and are active in sports. Cody looks promising as a hiker.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Cody is 4 months old red/white. This is my first Corgi. He is adorable and smart. He loves music especially classical which puts him to sleep. I play the piano and am learing to play the cello. He enjoys both even with mistakes. Too cute!
Thanks for the welcomes and great comments. I am looking forward to the Corgi Shoreline dog park on the 3rd SAturday morning. I had just met Debbie Algieri at a puppy social in Sunnyvale this last Sunday and our two Corgis had a great time. Mine spends a good portion of the time on his backside. We have been working on going places and socializing. He is doing great. I do plan to make him a little hiker. We did our first little hike yesterday.
Yes, very much so !!! I noticed that as well.They are so cute ! Just today his ears started standing up, he is exactly 11 weeks old now.He will get his second set of shots tomorrow.
They grow up so fast, just like kids.
