I am offended by your comment. I can assure you Sadie was not "humiliated". Humility is a human emotion. Dogs either like or dislike something. She was a good girl and tolerated the costume for the minute it took to take the picture. I would never do anything to harm Sadie. Not emotionally...not physically...not in any kind of way. I love her VERY VERY much! Her vet didn't think she was "humiliated". She loved the picture so much, she put it on the home page of her animal hospitals website. As a new comer you should be informed that the people on MyCorgi are friendly and supportive of each other. Your tacky comment was unwarranted and unappreciated.
Give Scout some time. Radar was with you longer. It takes time to be a once-in-a-lifetime dog. But, when I decided to do a Corgis Remembered group, it reminded me that each of my Corgis seemed and were once-in-a-lifetime Corgis, and then we fell madly in love again. We never forget our beloved Corgis but we do open our hearts to our new Corgis.
