About Me:: We are parents of two children, our son is 24 yrs old and graduated from college, with a degree in psychology. He plays professional arena football, with the Columbus Lions. Our daughter is 20 years old and is a junior in college. We have a large pet family, 3 dogs, and 3 cats, so we are busy taking care of everyone. My husband works as a national sales manager and I am a kindergarten teacher . We love our family!!!

About My Corgi(s):: Our Corgi is a 2 year old female, red and white Pembroke,named Jillie! She is so smart and playful, she has a spunky personality. We are entertained by her constantly, she is a real joy for us!! Her favorite interests are playing fetch, chewies, playing with our other dogs, Samson and Jack! She also speaks her mind ....has a language of her own, she tries to keep everyone in line!
She is a little cuddlebug........so precious!!!!

Thanks so much Kathy. We are going to be getting her via air to pick up in Charleston. It's only one plane change, and the breeder feels comfortable with how the freight people described the handling of unattended "fur babies". We will only have a 2 hr drive now. I'm getting so excited.. I think I'm starting to drive my husband crazy... he likes animals, but seems to be a little puzzled by my degree of excitement. We have had several pooches in the past and currently have 2 great big cats that my kids are fond of referring to as "Dog" when they come to visit. My daughter who lives here has a dog (black lab and chow mix who looks really lab when she is groomed, except for the curly, plumy tail), and I really like her and the cats, but I've NEVER owned a pet who was mine! My brother had the dog when we were growing up, our dogs were sort of family (our kids) pets. Now that I'm retired, I just decided that I was going to get my very own fur baby now. I'm here and can pay attention to her and take good care of her. I've already looked for obedience classes (for both of us, I'm sure). I just can't wait ... and my daughter brought two tough looking doggie toys home today, so I suspect that the rest of the family is pleased.. maybe just not as pleased as me :).

thank you, kathy.so glad to have found this site. i had a beautiful golden bear that i lost so suddenly to an auto-immune disorder. she was a sable with white tippytoes. she was my best friend. someday, probably soon there will be another to love. different, but..just as much.

KATHY, THANK YOU YOUR CORGI IS BEAUTIFUL. I CAN'T BELIEVE JILLIE GETS ALONG WITH THE RABBIT, I'M AFRAID MY CORGI WOULD HURT OURS. BRADY DOESN'T GET ALONG W/TWO OF OUR CATS. Finally added pictures of the corgi meetup from March! I added a blog to my page with a slideshow and also have a link on my page to the photobucket account of the meetup! Hello! Yes we had a very nice weekend, hope you did too! Lance was very busy trying to herd everyone! My husbands college roommate and his wife and two girls came to stay with us for the weekend. They live about 3 1 /2 hrs from us!
We were invited to come stay with them over the summer and also to bring Lance, they wanted to take him home with them, even though he barked every time my husbands friends wife came in from outside! Even after they had been here for over a day, he still was barking like an intruder was coming in, LOL, but they said what a good doggie he is. : ) Its nice that they also own a herding breed so they know how they work!
