My husband and I have had two corgis, Betsy and Duchess. Betsy was adopted out to a corgi lover who had lost her 10 year old Pem. Betsy succumbed to cancer at the age of 8. Duchess was out friend for 13 years and held our hearts!

    We are so sorry for your losses! We lost our baby Phinny this past summer to a fatal car accident...but still have his sis Gem and Edward our tricolor who is 8mos and won't stop growing!!!! How long did Duchess have DM?

    I saw your post about getting a new corgi...i'm also from LA and I adopted Toby in Aug from the 4 paws society in Sulphur, LA. They tend to find corgis from LA shelters and take them in to be adopted. I think they still have this little guy http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=15664516 ...if not you can contact them and tell them you are looking for a corgi and they will call you when they find one..you can also try searching on www.petfinder.com . that's how I found my Tobes =)
