I don't know if those Mesheye things actually do any good. For that matter, there is no evidence that sunblock reduces the incidence of melanoma (interesting article about this in Science awhile back; I remember that part). Conceivable that the Mesheyes -- like scratched or poor-quality sunglasses -- do more harm than good by dimming light and dilating the iris, thus letting in more damaging light. But I think snowblindness is sunburn to the cornea, not internal. I've dabbed sunscreen on the thin spot on the dogs' noses, but remember how that stuff stings when it gets into your own eyes.
I try to make them wear Doggles if on snow for long periods above, say, 6000, which is not often. They always have to go in front, 'cause they'll rub them off. You have to get replacement lenses; dogs are careless with optics.
I suspect they can see better with the Mesheyes.
Your pictures are wonderful, they are both so cute , and I'm sure they are so much fun. i also have 2 pems 1 tri and 1 red. Enjoy the little bundles of love.
