About Me:: We are a young couple in our fiftys. Our two legged kids are out on thier own so we devote most of our free time to our four legged ones. We have three, a Great Dane (Joni Bell) a Collie Lab mix (Ollie Ann) and our Corgi Fence Climber mix, (BEAR). We are contractors with United Van Lines and travel all over the U.S.A.. Although, we leave the girls home with the house/dog sitter, Bear never leaves our side.

About My Corgi(s):: We rescued Bear from death row at our local dog pound and we both truly believe that he knows it. He is the most loyal dog either of us have ever known and almost always does everything he is told to do. Although, if he does not want to do as he is told he becomes stiff and moves very slow. We call it the robot walk.

Last year Petsmart had a photograph of a Corgi on the cover of it's calender that looked just like Bear and it is our wish to find the owner of the Cover Dog and and hopefully get some mix information.

Is he an aussie/corgi? Absolutely stunning! I have an aussie mix that is a longer legged version of him...it is freaky how much they look alike!

Zen doesn't have any corgi in him. He is an aussie/cattledog. He weighs 85 lbs! LOL. Bear looks like the trifecta of aussie/corgie pem/corgi cardi!

Bella is also a super good car rider...we just traveled to middle Illinois and back, nearly 1800 miles, and she was good as gold.

It's funny because I was just telling the vet during the dogs' checkup that whenever DiMaggio doesn't want to go for a walk, he walks reaaaalllly slowly (he HATES exercise!!!) The vet thought it was funny, too. These dogs are so clever, aren't they?

Thank you for the great welcome! What a photogenic fellow (though I'm not sure I share his politics - haha). My old corgis used to love having their pictures taken and would actually pose when the camera came out. Lily is the opposite (her companion hated picture taking). I just tried to take some pictures of her playing with her ball and, when she saw the camera, she took her ball and went into the guest bedroom. Oh well.

!!!! Awesome welcome! Thank you. I'm a big dog envious about the Dane. Someday I will know the joy. I've been absolutely obsessed with Danes from the age of 5 or 6. My mother remembers me reading books and knowing the breed inside and out. Haha. When we got the 'pay-by-minute' Internet when I was 11. I read and read. I loved all dogs. But Danes. Corgis quickly ran up the favorites. I can't wait to have both my favorites under one roof. :D well. I better get back to work. Tho it is slow here and I haven't much to do. :D

Love looking at your pics. Your corgi Bear is so cute! And boy does he get around! My husband and I are also a young couple in our fifties, with two corgis. They are the best part of my day. I looke forward to getting home from work to spend time with them. I wish I could take them to work with me! (I am Operating Room Tech so I guess that is out of the question). Keep posting your really great pics!
