Hi, I'm in the USAF and own a tri color welsh Pembroke corgi with my wonderful boyfriend. Oh another piece of info, Clint's my first corgi ever. I hope to learn alot from more experienced Corgi owners.
Most of my pictures of Clint will either be decent or blurry as they should considering they're taken from a phone.
My Corgi's name is Clint as in Clint Eastwood he's pretty playful and he loves to be a goober. He's a Tri color Pembroke welsh corgi and likes to stick out his tongue. He loves nibbling on my stuff. He's 4 months old now and likes to bark, growl, howl, and grunt to amuse himself or us on random occasions. He has such a large personality and I think he's quite the comedian sometimes.
The pics of Mr. Clint at all the different ages are interesting.
Mom & Dad are both sables? Lessee, that means we'd expect 1/4 of the litter to be tris, 1/2 sable, and 1/2 red... if I've got it right. Do you know what the actual ratio in the litter was?
There's a coat color genetics article on the PWCCA website that says Sable is an incompletely dominant form of Red that allows a bit of the tri gene to show in sable/tri carriers.
Ew... if the litter was all tris, that is possible but unlikely. How many pups? I work in a medical genetics lab, so I'm s'pozed to know these things, ha-ha...
Clint is adorable, have fun, be very intentional, organized, and diligent about training, it will all pay off.
I'm not good with math, but if I'm doing it right, the probability of a litter of 5 tris from 2 sable parents is 1/1024. Ew.
I'd have expected 1/4 tris, 1/2 sables, 1/4 reds. I think I goofed.

My daughter does deviantART too. I like the fox headdress. I have a perfect red fox pelt (roadkill, Montana); it's even softer than Gwynnie's fur.
I was wondering if it was Clint as in Eastwood. If you've not seen Gran Torino, I think it is his best by far.
