We now have two more out of Angel at eight weeks which we hold great hopes for.
Stephen you sure keep busy! I don't know of any working corgis, but I always like looking at pictures! My babies are just part of the family, Bucher is 9 1/2 and he is scheduled for surgery on Friday to remove a tumor on his spleen & Sally just turned 4 and is a rescue who had been abused so is shy, but getting better.
Stephen, thanks for the friend request and picture of your girl Angel. Yes, she does have some similarity to Gromit in her color and coat. Spectacular tail on her too! Here in the USA we still normally receive our Pems docked and probably will until the breed standard here is changed, but we do enjoy seeing the lovely tails that Pems would normally have. I'll look forward to seeing more pictures of your Corgis.
Stephen, thanks for the pictures of your gang there. Button is especially eye-catching and brings back fond memories of my first two Corgis, Watson & Tinsel.
Yes, there are some limitations to how much one can put into the comments or private e-mails here. Those of us fond of writing often bump into the limits!
It's great to have a MyCorgi member from "the mother country" and Pembrokeshire no less; we'll look forward to reading of your Corgi happenings over there as you have time to post them.
Many of your pics show the tails carried high. Do they always do this, or is it just a photographic artifact? I see many pics of other tailed Pems abroad with the held tail low.
This tail-docking thing seems practically a religious issue here in USA; some people really like it, so we don't see many Pems with tails, but I think the tails look great. Good for keeping the nose warm at night, too.
Gwynnie & Al say hi from West Pembrokeshire.
I met a Swedish vallhund the other day -- rare here in USA -- the spitz ancestry was obvious especially when it curled its tail up over the back, but sometimes it lowered the tail too. I guess they don't dock vallhunds, but many are born naturally bobtailed; this one had a full otter-tail.
Thank you for the comment. There is a large community of corgis here in Taiwan, also Corgis are popular in Hong Kong, and Japan. They have great personality and the right size for apartment here in Asia! Great to see your pack. What is it like to live with so many corgis!?
