I live in the country near Ithaca, NY, am married and have 2 grown children. We raised Nubian dairy goats for 20 years and had a Maremma guardian dog who lived with them and another who lived in our home with us. Phoebe is our first corgi and we are loving the experience of having her!

About My Corgi(s):
Phoebe, our corgi, is a beautiful fluffy from Honeyfox born on September 23, 2012. We feel very fortunate to have her - she is a light in our lives and a challenge - like becoming new parents again. I look forward to loving and learning from her everyday!
Hi Sarah. Your Corgi is adorable! I see she's from Honeyfox; they have a very good reputation.
Don't worry too much about the stairs thing. I posted this link to Rae's blog but she didn't allow the comment to appear. It's from the national breed club.
Anne Bowes is a wonderful breeder who knows a lot about Corgis. However, not everyone agrees on all these issues and other equally good breeders do teach pups to use stairs. They just shouldn't be charging up and down them, leaping off them, or using them repeatedly all day. Of course if you aren't comfy letting pup do stairs, that's fine too. It's really a personal decision. If Honeyfox didn't mention it they probably didn't think it was that big a deal.
Sarah, Randy came from Linda Muglach (Lin-Kel Nanteos PWC), Leeds, AL. My previous Pem, also a fluff, considered herself a mouser but she generally slept on the porch and they probably crawled over her.

Things are hectic for me too this month. May would be great, I would love to meet other corgi's (the owners too, of course!)

I haven't noticed a fluffy group but I don't always pay attention.
