I'm so glad. Foxy is doing good too. She's very sweet and super cuddly, I'm so happy with way she turned out. She does have a lot of energy but she seems to know when to use it and when to be calm. We are in lots of dog sports/activities to keep her busy. I hope you are enjoying Ann Arbor. Do you think you'd ever get another corgi to keep Chiba company? I'd like to but my boyfriend says we need to wait lol.
You make great points Bella. It is a lot of work of say the least. I'm thinking of maybe not a puppy because that is tons of work with the potty training and chewing and biting, etc. lol. Mostly I'd like to get another one as a companion for Foxy. She just loves to play with other dogs and I feel bad that she doesn't have anyone other than us to play with. I think it would help wear her out, but then I think there's no guarantee she'll like the other dog. I'm in the same situation, my boyfriend and I live together but I do the caretaking mostly for Foxy. There are definite cons to it also. I am so busy with her at times I feel it wouldn't be fair to take time away from her to focus on a new dog and I also spend quite a bit of money on her between food, treats, toys, classes and to take on another dog would mean doubling the expenses. She is also very attached to me to say the least and I just don't know that she would like another dog invading her space with me and in the house. As much as I'd like to get another corgi, right now I think we'll just stick with her. Who knows what the future will bring. I couldn't ask for a better companion.
