About My Corgi(s):
Rhys (r/w male) and Andy (rht female) are 3 year old brother and sister.

Rhys, unfortunately, inherited an aggression problem from his doggy daddy. He actually attacked me a couple of times and, when the last one happened, I had to make the terrible decision to "help him to the Bridge." I could no longer risk him hurting me, Andy, or worse - a stranger. Rhys was a great dog - happy, super smart, and (when he wanted to be) quite loving. His aggression was not his fault and he always felt sorry after he attacked me, crawling into my lap as if to say, "I'm sorry...I love you, Mommy." I tried everything I could for him, even going to a veterinary behaviorist who told me that his type of aggression could not be cured or "trained out of him." The decision I made was the hardest decision of my entire life. I will always love him and I will never regret the time I spent with him.

Andy, on the other hand, did not inherit this aggression and she is quite possibly the sweetest dog I have ever known. She absolutely adores me, following me from room to room. She loves attention from people and her small stature and puppyish face attracts attention wherever we go. She loves to FRAP. She sleeps next to me on the bed every night (except during the warmest days of summer) and wakes me up with kisses each morning. She and Rhys complemented each other in the fact that he was not so cuddly, so he did not get jealous when she cuddled up with me. I love her to pieces. When I got Andy, she was a year old and I had had Rhys for 9 months. I was worried that I would not bond with her or that she would not bond to me. How wrong I was - as we have a bond that is so deep and special that I just can't imagine my life without her.

    Great to hear that you'll be coming, this year Kiwi will be able to play with everyone. I'm sure I did meet you last year (however, I'm horrible with remembering sometimes). Looking forward to seeing you and Andy this Saturday :).

    With the way Corgi's look, we figured that he was proof of the theory of evolution- so Darwin it became (after a really long conversation of other potential names such as : Pollock, Warhol, Sigmund, Cooper, and Caden). His original name was Corky. Corky the Corgi... it hurt my soul and needed changing! (I am plotting to get a second corgi and naming him Elliot- but don't tell my partner, I might get in trouble.
