I am onto my second corgi. The first was a beautiful female - Toffee. She lived 12 1/2 years though she suffered from DM the last year of her life. She was a wonderful dog who followed me to the top of many a mountain. When she died, the house was so quiet. Enter, Cuillen. Cuillen is a 4 1/2 year old happy male who loves life.
Thank you for sharing your story of your precious little girl Toffee. It brought tears to my eyes. I too lost a loved Corgi a year ago Sept. Her name was Daisy and I only had her for a short time but it seemed like forever.
My little pack keeps me busy as ever. So your little boy Cuillin is a tri. My Andy is a tri. He was given up by a lady who's husband didn't want him (I would have gotten rid of the husband. . .LOL) but I'm glad I got him cause he is an absolute delight.
I'm glad you're giving Cuillin a forever home. I just don't understand how anyone can say no to these loving companions. They scream take me take me with their smiling faces. . . . .LOL
Hope to see more pictures of you and Cuillin at the top of the Skye. . . . .
So glad you joined mycorgi. It's a great place for Corgi lovers. Condolences for Toffee. So sad to lose a beloved friend to DM. But, the best treatment for Corgi loss is another Corgi to fill a quiet house with lots of noise and antics. Welcome to you and Cuillen.
