Have owned cockers, currently own a beagle, am a long-term, wannabe corgi owner. Degree in Animal Science from UNH, retired freelance editor (educational publishing), have fostered for Beagles of New England States (not currently), long-term pet owner. Approved for adoption by 3-4 NE pet rescue groups. Have had an application (approved) in with Mayflower Pembroke Corgi Club since ~5/2014. Would consider fostering corgis but Mayflower doesn't allow non-members to do so. Am a home owner with small yard.

About My Corgi(s):
Lost my 18-yr-old beagle Bobo in May 20014 and have been looking for a friend for 15-yr-old beagle Abby. Seeking to adopt a corgi in need of a home. Because of my current pets (Abby, the 15-yr-old beagle, 3 cats, all 10-14 yrs) I must be able to meet the dog before adopting, so needs to be in New England. Am willing to meet and consider any corgi, but am leaning toward a male, 2-9 years old. Would consider younger, but cats and senior beagle might not appreciate that! An older dog means I might have to bury two dogs in too short a time (emotionally hard) but would consider. Color not important but a tricolor would be nice.
