Profile Information:

Hometown:
New York City, but currently San Francisco
About Me:
27 year old female who recently relocated from Manhattan to San Francisco.

I'm a huge skier and triathlete and have been trying to work my corgi up to jogging with me. Right now he makes it to the dog park and back, which is about 1 mile.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Linus is a 5-year old rescue pup who was found living behind a grocery store in a dumpster! He was in West Virginia, and we found him on Petfinder and went and picked him up. He had to have most of his teeth pulled because they were rotted and also had to be completely shaved. He's doing a lot better now and is happy to be living the life of a city dog.

Interested in meetups and obedience training. Linus passed his Canine Good Citizen Test and now is hopefully going to become a therapy dog. Eventually I would also like to have him herding instinct tested. Absolutely love this wonderful four-legged, slobbery new friend!
I have:
Pembroke

    I see you are planning to go to the Corgi Fair, have you ever been? Our families going, this will be the first time attending and were very excited, in fact I'm counting the days! Is this your first Corgi? This is ours. I had dogs my whole life but the connection with this dog is unbelivable! Linus's story is so sad, I cannot comprehend someone doing that. Heck, if I see a stray dog on the way to work I will call in to help it, I even have animal control on speed dial for any injured animals I see. I bet Linus is extreamly thankful to you and your family for including him in your lives. I see you are interested in meet ups, the only one I know of is at the dog park in Mountain View on the 20th of each month. That's a little far for us so we've never been. Take care, see you at the fair!!!!!!

    Hi, Linus & family! We haven't been on this site for a while. Reading Linus' story was so touching. Thank you for sharing and for showing such great compassion for rescuing Linus. Good luck on being a new SF transplant. It's a fabulous city, like NYC, but it seems that there are more opportunities for Linus to play outdoors. Corgis love nature, don't they? Norman goes bonkers when he's in grass/sand/water. Happy holidays and a peaceful new year!
