Although my understanding is that this website is about my dog, I will comply with the rules and say that I am 68, the wife of Lawrence Holofcener, the artist (www.holofcener.com), and the mother of 6 (4+2). We have 8 grandchildren. I am an event producer with a 40-year career of working with non-profits, as well as theater productions. If you want to know more, you can Google 'Julia Holofcener.
Chloe is a Welsh Corgi/Jack Russell mix, we are told, that was found wandering the highways of LA. My son and his girlfriend got her from a Rescue Home in Beverley Hills. He moved to an apartment which didn't allow dogs, so we brought her to our home in Florida. She has brought such joy into our lives. My sister says she has 'staff', we're so devoted to her. She can be very independent from time to time, but makes us laugh all of the time. She's extremely well-trained except for the ear-piercing bark when she sees someone outside. The barking joy she exhibits when one of us comes back to the house is deafening, but we love her enthusiasm. Mostly she prefers to sleep on top of the bed covers, but lately she seems to want to sleep under the sheets pushed up against my husband or myself. I have yet to figure out how she breathes under there.
Can't wait to see more pictures of your cutie. I too am caring for a corgi mix until my son finishes college and can move into a place that allows dogs. Check out Dolly by clicking on our little picture. Be sure and join the Corgi Mix group, too.
