Profile Information:

About Me:
I currently live with Scout and her "brother" a grey cat named Swarley. I love hiking and have finally been able to get Scout on some nearby trails when it has been nice out. I went to ISU for Geology. I work at IN Dept of Transportation testing material used for road construction. I am engaged to the best man in the world, so on Nov 3, 2012, Scout gets a new daddy!
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Scout is around 7 years old. I got her from a friend at work who knew people that weren't taking care of her. Scout was "free range" around the whole neighborhood and wasn't let inside. But now she thinks she owns the house. I could not wish for a better dog. She is calm, always happy, and one of the sweetest dogs ever. I am lucky to have her in my life. She has 2 cat siblings and a dog sister. (of which only 1 -Swarley the cat-lives with us) My parents and I share Hershi (a 14 yr old mix dog) and Priscilla (a 1 yr old cat)
I have:
Pembroke

    Hi Emily. Thanks for you reply and yes I have tried Petfinder.  I have sent an application to the Pembroke Welsh Corgi rescue adoption agency but I am really getting worried as my Farina keeps getting sadder by the day.  I have even gone to shelters to try and adopt but sadly enough, all they seem to have are pitbulls and not that I am against those dogs, but where I live they are not really allowed.

    I will keep scearching and praying I can find a friend for my Farina.  Thanks again and God bless

    Bummer!  I was tempted to check out your event, but it is the same day as the Wisconsin Corgi Picnic.  We are already going to that and have planned to stay at my cousin's house the night before, etc.  Maybe I will get lucky next year and they will be on different weekends.  I would love to be able to do both.

    Do you have a date for the Midwest Corgi Picnic yet?

    We had CORGI-CON yesterday and several people were asking about other events to attend.  We plan to attend the Wisconsin Corgi Picnic and I am hoping it is not the same day again.  That picnic it scheduled for September 13, 2014.

    Please let me know when you have a date.  I can send that info to the people on the CORGI-CON E-mail list.  I have already sent them the info for Wisconsin's event.
