About Me:
My husband Jeff and I lost our late Pembroke Welsh Corgi mix, Raia, on 2/11/11. We don't have children, we borrow and love our new dog-child! We adopted Anya, another Pembroke, on 3/18 and she is so good! Anya is about 2 years old and is a mother of five: Hampton, Spuds, Eire, Oona and Roxy.

We adopted a tri-color Pembroke Welsh Corgi from Cheryl Lyons whose name was Kaylee. We renamed her Anya. We are so happy to be having her join our family! Anya is doing great at understanding her new name. She is our little shadow, following us whereever we go. Anya loves belly rubs, rawhide chews, treats, and walks. Anya's dislikes are the big dog that lives a couple streets over from us that is very loud when we're out for our walk and the noise our furnace makes when it blows air out of the vents in our house.

    I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Raia. I know only too well the loss of a Pet. I'm sure you will have many happy years with your new Corgi, Anya. Can't wait to see pics of your new Fur-Baby. . . .

    Looking at your pictures I couldn't believe how many facial expressions Oona shares with mama Anya! They may not look like kin at first glance, but if you know them well enough you can tell!
