I'm 24 years old and I was born and raised in the small town of Hilo, Hawaii. I moved to San Diego when I was 17 to obtain my degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of CA - SD. Although I often miss the islands, I felt at home in the California sunshine almost instantly. Along with art, design and the general breed of Corgis, I love playing music, dancing, cheerleading, running, traveling, my family, friends, Garett and life itself.
Miley is my soon to be Pembroke pup. We get her in a week, at which point she'll be 8 weeks old! She's the runt of her litter, so she's a bit tiny but we feel she's got quite an intelligent personality and can't wait to watch her grow up!!
Usually, Rabies is the last but I'm not sure when the parvo occurs. Even if they have had their vaccines, it takes 2 to 5 weeks for the immunity to develop since they are so young. I would definately limit where you take her to a close small area but ask your vet if she has had parvo yet or check you records. Usually vet, recommended keeping them away from other dogs until they are about 4 months old. better to be safe than sorry. Parvo is more of a warm weather disease so hopefully is not occurring much right now. Best wishes with that precious baby.
