I had to put my corgi, Spud, down on Valentine's day of this year and it was the hardest thing I've ever done. I would've been six on March 9.
I didn't know how long it would be before I bought another one but I did. He's the cutest little thing ever and he looks just like my Spud.

About My Corgi(s):
My first corgi was named Spud. He was a pembroke and my first dog ever. I had a cat before him and she was not too happy about me bringing a dog home. I had him for nearly six years before I had to put him down. It wasvery hard to do because he was my little buddy.
I just recently bought another one and trying to think of a name for him. Hopefully it isn't too hard.

    Mindy, I just read your posting about Spud - how heartbreaking. I don't know if this would be of any comfort but I came across a woman and her daughter who make glass jewelry and other items infusing ashes from our loved ones. Maybe you'd like a little heart necklace to keep with you? I'm sending the website if you'd like to look into it. When my Sophie goes (she's 14yrs old now, God bless her) I'll likely have a necklace made. They're out of Montana.
