Washington State Corgis

Any kind of Corgi is welcome to this group! From those who are from Olympia, Vancouver, Seattle and even Pullman! I've hardly seen Corgis in Washington, but this group continues to prove me wrong!
  • Parvo outbreak Puget Sound Dec. 2012

Everett and B'Ham have closed dog parks.  I don't know how widespread it is.  Puppies especially vulnerable.  If I had an unvaccinated pup, I'd be avoiding public places, and NO eating poop!  It spreads fecal-oral route.

  • Washington Breeders?

Hello,I've been wanting to get a corgi for years now and recently became serious in my searches. I've been emailing with a couple of breeders in Idaho and Washington, looking for upcoming litters. Does anyone have a breeder they love that they can refer me to? Thanks!~Chae

  • Corgi-friendly hikes in central WA: Quincy Wildlife Refuge, Gingko State Park

On Google Maps, google "Ancient Lakes". It's NW of George and SW of Quincy. We went there in November. Maybe not a great idea in snake season, whenever that is. Autumn/winter/early spring might be best. Make sure your dog does not bother any wildlife, esp. in nesting season. Start early, make a…

  • Names

Is there any significance to the name you chose for your dog(s)? My fiance named his corgi "Lucy" after watching Across the Universe. I named my dog "Penny" after a Basset Hound we had when I was born. If I am to ever get a boy corgi, I would like it's name to end in a "y" as well :)
