sorry, meant to add this text with the picture below - with which breeds would y'all say charlie's mixed? - the shelter where he came from said he was a corgi mix - the vet in PA said he must have some shiba inu in him - a lot of people are saying german shepherd and i see chow (he has a black tie-dye tongue) - he's the greatest no matter what he actually be - i'm just curious

Oh, Charlie is so cute! He sure looks like he has some shiba in him, looking at the shape of his head and his coat. The black muzzle and your mention of a black tongue does sound like chow. Corchow Inu? Either way he looks great!

Charlie looks even taller than Kitsie! Wow!! What a cute boy. I see all of those breeds in him (although I'm no expert).

Micah is half sheltie and half corgi, but her personality is almost full corgi. She's a really good girl most of the time, but she likes to stir up trouble every now and then.

This is Gemmi, she is about 4 and 1/2 months old. I'm not sure what she's mixed with, but I suspect it's Shiba Inu. Her personality is all Corgi, though!

She's such a funny girl. When I was looking to rescue another dog, I was looking at older dogs. I didn't think I wanted to do the puppy thing again.

I have to admit it has been fun having her around. I forgot just how darn cute puppies are!

Hi, we think Stella is corgi/long haired dachshund mix. I think the pictures we've seen of Jason's Ein look very similar to Stella. I love to see some more pictures of Ein to compare! The rescue where we got Stella thought corgi/spaniel too, but we are going with LH dachshund. Who knows, could be all 3.

I'm so jealous of the corgi/beagle puppies. Our corgi had some with the beagle across the street when I was a kid and I loved those dogs. We were looking for corgi/beagle mix when we found Stella, but who wouldn't fall in love with those big brown eyes?

In regards to the gate conversation, we had to buy a 40" gate for Stella and she is only 10" at the shoulder! She could get over the 30" wooden gates. I think the trick is to get a gate with vertical bars. We found a carlson that has a walk through door.

Hi everyone! I just adopted Wrigley yesterday and I can't tell what he is! He is Corgi and I think maybe Shiba Inu, Sheltie or Beagle or some strange mix. Either way, he is adorable and his personality seems to be all Corgi. Any suggestions?

After doing much research, I have decided Wrigley is a Corgi/ Beagle mix. He shows signs from both breeds (like reverse sneezing when he gets excited), which is awesome because Beagles are my second favorite breed. :)

That is one awesome looking dog, Jeny! I can definitely see the corgi in him. ANd he has a tail that looks just like Sidney's!

Hi Everyone! I have Autumn a pure? rescue corgi. But I'm thinking of adopting a corgihuahua puppy. Anyone have corgi-chihuahua mixes? Also my dog Autumn has anxiety from being such a horrible case of neglect. And I'm wondering about her getting along a new puppy. Or possibly adopting a 2 year old male doxie mix.

Hey everyone. Here is Cashew the Corgihuahua. Hes now 16 weeks old, 8lbs and as sweet (and bouncy) as can be. :) I totally see both corgi and chihuahua in him.

Cashew is very small but he doesn't think that he is. His Mom was a 30lb Pembroke so I was hoping he would be a little bit bigger... but he's stolen my heart regardless. It's amazing how much the chihuahua genes take over. Here are the two girls of his litter Juanita & Rio.

Anyone see any corgi in there? If his mom wasn't pure corgi I would swear they were mixed with something else.

Not all purebreds are Show Quality. I used to have a chihuahua that I thought was a mix, but then I was told by both a breeder and the vet that he was a purebred. He just wasn't Show Quality. He was barely Pet Quality (quite the little biter), but I loved him anyway ;). Most of us humans aren't Show Quality either!

Stumpy the black dog is a bulldog-Corgi (Bullgi), Ruby the red dog is a Corgi-JackRussell (Pembrat). Both are great mixes & great dogs.

It's finally warm so we've been going to the dog park every day! Wellie loves to dig for mice--is that a Corgi thing or a Chow thing? I try not to watch him. I looked over one day and two little wiggling feet were disappearing down his throat.

Going after little critters is a Corgi thing. Stumpy's favorite thing to chase, after squirrels, is lizards.

My father is looking at adopting a sweet young German Shepherd Corgi that is with a rescue group. We are looking for information, pointers and any concers we should know about on large breed corgi mix's.
