Jinksy- 11, my heart boy at the rainbow bridge
Ginny- sweet sweet Gin at the bridge with Jinksy. rescue from a puppy mill too short a time out of a cage but two years running free and barking on the ranch.
Duff- rescue , 2 years old, a wee little tri who thinks he's the biggest dog in the room.
The non corgi contingent- BB and Luverboy two Hungarian Pulik aka "hellboyz"
Thanks all of you for your prayers and concern. He's actually doing well considering everything he went through.
I've started a blog for all the pups so if you would like to keep up with Jinksy that's the best place. This kind of forces me to use the camera more and think about the important things- like cheese, kibble and pets ....
I was just reading your response about the blowing coats and saw you have a corgi named Ginny. That's what I named my new little girl and we live in Colorado, too. Weird!
I joined this site not too long ago to learn more about corgis in preparation for getting our puppy. She will be joining us in 2 weeks.
Get ready for one of those "small world" stories.
Been to Nashville lately? I attended the mural meeting there several years ago at Mike's house. Now I am into some other things since we have started some restaurant in NC. Today I saw your posting and thought, "Can there be more than ONE Ziska?" grinning.....
I truly appreciated the time you took to answer my novice painting questions back when and was grateful for the advice you gave me.
It is a pleasant surprise to run across you again!
Very cute.... my Ginny is named after Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter. All my animals have Harry Potter names. There's two cats, Minerva and Weasleby, and of course, Miss Ginny. It's a good name!
Thanks for your comments on Fern. Good to know they can recover from their past! Actually she doesn't pee in the house-- She is pretty good in that department--quite a surprise since the rescue organization kept her outside. She leaks urine. Something she can't control. Just little dribbles here and there. Supposedly the rescue vet ruled out an infection, but we are following up with our vet on Monday.
Hi Ziska, Click on Forum, select "rescue reviews", and the just "start a discussion", put down the name of the rescue, the people in charge, contact info and that's it. Thanks!
