About My Corgi(s):
All my Low Rider's have Champion pedigree's and go threw testing requirements to promote a healthy sound Corgi. I look for smooth movement, flat toplines, great expression, thick sturdy bone, and most importantly..MIND! My dogs get the utmost of care and love and expect the same from any puppy buyers. All my Low Rider's are fed Eukanuba and Sentinel given monthly. My puppies are raised in the home w/my family and are socialized several times a day. I have an AKC Registered Veterinarian who I have a wonderful relationship w/and handles all of the care on my Low Rider adults and pups. Puppies have their nails trimmed every week w/dewormings starting at 2 wks of age and every other wk. following the initial deworming along w/vaccinations at 6 wks before going to their new homes at 8 wks of age. All puppies are sold on a Limited Registration unless references are provided and I feel your worthy of an Open Registration. Contracts per agreement will be signed before releasing said dog. I will allow my studs to service a very selective few outside females upon my evaluation of said females and a health certificate from a veterinarian. I have acquired a Kennel License for my county which allows the county and city to come unannounced to inspect my kennel, and of course AKC. I have also acquired a Vendor's License which makes me pay taxes on my dogs. As a breeder, I feel it is my duty to educate any new owner and be there for the life of any puppy I produce and place.

I have:

Yes she loves them, puts a few in each room no matter how many times we gather them up :) We call them her eggs b/c she curls up with them or lays on them. I see you are a breeder, Steve and I are thinking about getting another corgi or corgi mix after the holidays.....we definitely want to rescue, do you know of any corgi rescue centers around southwest ohio?
  • Tanya Taylor

Hello, how did you get that cute animated dog on your comments space? You have some beautiful pups. I am having trouble getting my pics on as my kids have my tower so screwed up, it won't work! I may have to make a disc and send it to a friend to send through to my address here!! Better w/dogs than machines, LOL!
  • Gail L

Hi Wendy, with all of your experience with corgis and other breeds have you had any experience with back/disc problems? If so would you mind me picking your brain about that? Thanks Gail
  • Vikki

Thank you very much for your warm welcome. Love your pictures. It must be fun to live with so many cute and adorable corgis!
  • Vikki

That's nice to have a new corgi member joining your family soon. I am tempted to get another dog online, but I am not sure if it is safe to order pets from the internet.
  • Vikki

Thank you very much for your feedback. I was actually thinking about getting a new Shiba Inu pup. There are very few breeders near me. I will do more research before deciding.
Hope you and your corgis enjoy a happy Halloween.
  • Gail L

Thank you for your interest. Cobi was put on steriods early this week, but we don't seem to be seeing any improvement, actually this evening he is noticably worse. He can't use his back legs hardly at all now so we went out and bought a bottoms up leash so we can help him walk. He has an appointment with the vet on Monday. He just looks at us with those sad eyes, asking us to help him.

Wendy, I think you should start a group for your dogs puppy owners...
  • Tanya Taylor

just wondering...do you field breed, do A.I.'s, or controlled? What seems to work best for you?

  • Dawn Murray

Thanks! Glad to be here among all the corgi lovers! I love your herd! I can't wait to have a herd of our own...someday!
  • Dawn Murray

Is there a Corgi get together in your area? We attended our first corgi picnic, here in Florida. It was a great joy seeing all the low-riders, of all kinds! The dogs had a great time, too. It would be great if more people did these kinds of get-togethers!
  • MickeyAndBlue

Thanks! very cute kids.. how do you keep them entertained? I have 2 and still cannot manage that .. i thought they will keep each other entertained.. but i guess not..
  • MickeyAndBlue

Don't laugh but I paid a fortune for an apt in NYC with a roof terrace so that these buggers can run around like crazy.. but they run ONLY when I am there with them.. I leave them outside with the terrace door open.. they either come right back to me or look very sad across the barrier.. These two baffle me.. I could go out for 10 mins and when i return they act like they havent seen me in years.. man, I love them.. but one with a bad tummy and one with something wrong in his hips.. nothing but heartaches..
  • Dawn Murray

It would be nice for like-minded people to get together and have fun with their corgis, be it once a year or several times a year! My husband and I never knew about all of this corgi stuff and we are so glad we do now! The pupose of the picnic is for CorgiAid. Great organization to be a part of; they provide medical care to corgis in need, they help with rescue and fostering and they bring people together who love corgis! We are new to this site and relatively new to raising a corgi. I have always wanted one, because I just loved them. Growing up, we both had different kinds of dogs, none of which were corgis. After meeting a beautiful corgi earlier in the year, we decided to get one(after doing much research). Trixie has been a blessing in our lives. Couldn't imagine life without her! She has made raising and caring for a pup very easy(almost as easy as a cat, only she's smarter!).
  • Anne

  • Butter

Thanks for the beautiful "Happy Fall", although it feels more like winter here! haha What sort of winter do you get in Ohio? Joy and Butter
  • MickeyAndBlue

yes, forti flora is that pro biotic thing.. their intestinal bateria balance is completely out.. dont know why.. blue (the girl with the most tummy issues) is eating what her prev owner fed her (dry food).. she is a vet too and she suggested forti flora.. worked wonders for 2-3 weeks.. so hard to keep them on raw diet.. if we were to go away anywhere.. it is going to be hell for the caretaker.. not sure what to do at this point.. other than yogurt.. and then mickey's problem.. oh well.. we will see;) thanks much for your comments ! greatly appreciate them !
  • Natalie, Lance &Tucker

Thank You for the cute message......how adorable. Happy Fall to you too
  • MickeyAndBlue

Shista.. u r right.. totally forgot about checking for giardia!! will check for that too.. she came from a farm like atmosphere in CT to NYC - our water is supposed to be one of the best.. so, I don't really know :-(
  • Wendt Worth Corgi's

If it is infact Giardia you better get stock in bleach. It can be in the water or dirty water bowls. let me get you a link about Giardia for you...hold on one minute....hehe

This will give you a run down on it. Good luck. Don't be worried..just check for it and treat it w/Fendbendazole and then re check them in 14 days.
  • Kristen

Thanks for the fall greeting. My favorite season. Love the top line on your new little girl. She is absolutely beautiful.

Nice to meet you and your beautiful corgis.
    Thanks for your huge welcome.^^
  • Gail L

Thank you! and Happy Fall to all of you! Although it still feels like summer here in CA with all the fires everywhere.
  • Kristen

Thanks for the links. I think I will be a verry "worried" corgi parent. It frightens me to think what could happen to my little girl and her puppies. I want to be prepared for what could happen.
  • Kristen

Thanks for the links. I appreciate learning from your experience. I think I will be a very worried Corgi parent and I want to know as much as I can, but I worry about what could happen to my little girl and her puppies.
