About Me:: My husband and I have 2 dogs... a Corgi named Midget (aka Midgee) and a Shih-tzu named Brownie. They are both about 4 years old. We have a new addition to the family. Our baby girl Sophia Grace was born in April 2010!

About My Corgi(s):: We adopted Midgee from the humane society in Feb 2008. We wanted a buddy for our Shih-tzu Brownie.
Midgee and Brownie are like brothers now.
Midget is kind of a bully and likes to assert his dominance, but they get along well.

They wear each other out, which is definitely nice : )

Midgee LOVES people! He greets everyone that he meets with open ears, ready for scratching. hehe

He's a good dog. I'm glad we were able to be his "forever home"

So I know that you moved to south minnwapolis, however, we are trying to get a meet and greet together this Sunday Sept. 21 around 1PM at the Burnsville Alimagnet dogpark (cty rd. 42 and 11 but cty rd 11). So if you can come, we hope to see you there : )

Hi Becky - Nice to hear from another Minnesota person. I love your pictures. I had a Lhasa Apso(?)similar to your Shih-tzu before I got Sadie. I adopted Kirby and had him for about 8 years (he was probably 7 or 8 when I found him) but sadly had to have him put to sleep last January and that was when I got Sadie. She's been quite bored by herself and so that's why we got Leo. They have a blast together! It is twice the work having two indoor dogs but once we get through this puppy stage I think it will be well worth it. Have a good night - Shelby, Sadie & Leo

Yes we did go to the dog park and it was really fun. I will keep you informed as to when we do another one. I would like to try and organize a monthly meet up or something. I love watching corgis run and play together!! They are all sooo cute : ) Hope you had fun at Ren Fest though!

:( So Hunter and I will not be able to make it anymore. But the good news is it is becuase we are going to drive a few hours and pick up a new corgi for a friend : ) Then they can join our group and get togethers!! yeah. She is a 10 month old beautiful corgi currently named Hazel. Hopefully we will see you at the next one! I did tell the MN Corgi group about your Meet up so I'm not sure how many of them might show up just so you know.

Thanks! I had to get a picture of the one black part of his body. My husband keeps saying he's tri-colored because of his tail :) Midgee's face is similar to Gibsons!

It was great to see you today. Sorry we didn't say goodbye. We had to leave right after the costume contest, Eric had to get going. Ein is pretty tired right now. Hopefully it will help him tomorrow. We are dog sitting my mother-in laws lab for the week. The 8 year old lab doesn't have much patience for the 8 month old puppy.
