About My Corgi(s):
All my Low Rider's have Champion pedigree's and go threw testing requirements to promote a healthy sound Corgi. I look for smooth movement, flat toplines, great expression, thick sturdy bone, and most importantly..MIND! My dogs get the utmost of care and love and expect the same from any puppy buyers. All my Low Rider's are fed Eukanuba and Sentinel given monthly. My puppies are raised in the home w/my family and are socialized several times a day. I have an AKC Registered Veterinarian who I have a wonderful relationship w/and handles all of the care on my Low Rider adults and pups. Puppies have their nails trimmed every week w/dewormings starting at 2 wks of age and every other wk. following the initial deworming along w/vaccinations at 6 wks before going to their new homes at 8 wks of age. All puppies are sold on a Limited Registration unless references are provided and I feel your worthy of an Open Registration. Contracts per agreement will be signed before releasing said dog. I will allow my studs to service a very selective few outside females upon my evaluation of said females and a health certificate from a veterinarian. I have acquired a Kennel License for my county which allows the county and city to come unannounced to inspect my kennel, and of course AKC. I have also acquired a Vendor's License which makes me pay taxes on my dogs. As a breeder, I feel it is my duty to educate any new owner and be there for the life of any puppy I produce and place.

I have:

My husband and I are skipping the 'BIG' meal and are taking Callie to the beach in Ca. instead on Wed. and then heading back to take the family out for dinner. I like that idea better for sure!
  • Jessica

Thank you very much! Love your corgis!
  • Karen

Thanks for the welcome! Your dogs are absolutely gorgeous. I'm looking forward to reading your blog. Quick question.....have you any "words of wisdom" concerning shedding? I'm thinking of starting my own line of knitted corgi-fur hats, mittens and accessories! ;-)
  • Lori Spearin

THANK YOU! for the wonderful welcome, your babies are very pretty/handsome! I am looking forward to reading about your dogs & Life with them!! thanks again!

P.s and as for your shedding problem Karen, I use the furminator, and it works Great and My gdogs Love it!..I purchased Mine through celestialstarkennels.com pretty inexspensive as well ;) i hope you dont think I was being Nosey ;0
  • Karen

Thanks for the advice! Brewer's Yeast, you say? I know it certainly can't hurt! My biggest challenge, I see, is my abject laziness. I simply don't THINK about grooming them as often as I should. Which is a shame, because they absolutely adore it.

I have seen a number of comments on MyCorgi praising the Furminator. Matter of fact, my husband used one (and saw one) for the first time last Sunday at a self-service dog wash. He agrees with you......it works beautifully, but he saw the potential for coat damage if it is used excessively.

Meanwhile, my dogs are definitely not "show corgis". Both of them were "giveaways" by owners who were unable to care for them. Fortunately we acquired them when they were both less than a year old. Cosmo is now 8, and Cody is 6.

    Enjoy your weekend!
  • Addison (Addi) Bassett

Thanks for the welcome message! Very cute!
  • Karen

The boys are on Costco's "Kirkland Mature Dog" formula. Cosmo is also a "semi-fluffy". He's not a puffball like a traditional fluffy, but his coat is much softer and the undercoat considerably more "poofy" than Cody's.

The GROOMING is the key here, I'm sure, but I'm definitely going to try the brewer's yeast too. Thanks again!
  • Carol

thanks! and what a beautiful bunch you have!!!!! corgis are the greatest!
  • Martine Felts

Makes me wanna add more corgis into my family
  • Allison Musick

Thanks! I'm still finding my way around...this seems a little like Facebook. Is it?
  • Nathania

I have 2 corgis... but recently I left Oscar in my parent's house to acompany them. So I only have one corgi in my house, her name is Gail. she is so tiny because when she was born, the mother couldn't produce milk. But Gail is healthy now, except she is smaller than any normal corgi.
  • Annie

Thank you for the Welcome! I was wondering if you know anything about Corgi mixes. I am pretty sure that Darwin is mixed with a Corgi, but I am not completely sure. He seems to have a lot of the personality traits of a Corgi. Thanks again!
  • Michell Anne Kimball

I sat on the stallion pictured for five minutes and was hooked - he is now retired but I still show and breed reining horses.
  • Michell Anne Kimball

Trust me - I get it . . . lol. Now I have 26 horses with three on the way. Go see the babies at www.huntereqcenter.com - under yearlings and weanlings. You will enjoy the videos. :)
  • Michell Anne Kimball

Hi, I went to your website and your dogs are gorgeous - I bred smaller corgis but mine had the same gorgeous faces as yours. . . I was recently looking online for a new puppy and was surprised at how unattractive (trying to be nice) so many of them looked. I don't breed them now but it was one of the highlights of my life.
  • Bay in TN

  • Matt & Hilliary

Thanks for the welcome, there's so much great info here, it's nice knowing there's a place like this to ask questions and get good answers from real corgi owners, not just generic dog owners.

Wow, your Corgis are beautiful! Parker and Penelope loves the beach and the good thing is that gas prices are very reasonable right now because Southern CA, only have 2 off leash beaches and both beaches are about 35 to 40 miles away. But I love my dogs so the drive is worth the happiness that it brings them.
