About My Corgi(s):
All my Low Rider's have Champion pedigree's and go threw testing requirements to promote a healthy sound Corgi. I look for smooth movement, flat toplines, great expression, thick sturdy bone, and most importantly..MIND! My dogs get the utmost of care and love and expect the same from any puppy buyers. All my Low Rider's are fed Eukanuba and Sentinel given monthly. My puppies are raised in the home w/my family and are socialized several times a day. I have an AKC Registered Veterinarian who I have a wonderful relationship w/and handles all of the care on my Low Rider adults and pups. Puppies have their nails trimmed every week w/dewormings starting at 2 wks of age and every other wk. following the initial deworming along w/vaccinations at 6 wks before going to their new homes at 8 wks of age. All puppies are sold on a Limited Registration unless references are provided and I feel your worthy of an Open Registration. Contracts per agreement will be signed before releasing said dog. I will allow my studs to service a very selective few outside females upon my evaluation of said females and a health certificate from a veterinarian. I have acquired a Kennel License for my county which allows the county and city to come unannounced to inspect my kennel, and of course AKC. I have also acquired a Vendor's License which makes me pay taxes on my dogs. As a breeder, I feel it is my duty to educate any new owner and be there for the life of any puppy I produce and place.

  • Renee

These people really scare me. I feel so sorry for the pups though. One of the reasons I asked you about pups this spring. I don't know that much about breeding pups but it sounded fishy. I can't believe he wants 750.for the pups!
  • Jadie

i absolutely love how you dubbed them "Low Riders"

    haha~~ lovin it!!
  • Jack, the Pumpkin King

What beautiful corgis!!! It's so great to know a caring loyal breeder. We foster dogs and have ran across some sketchy breeding practices. You are a gem and I'm glad to know of you!!!!!
  • Renee

Have you said anything to Shawn? How are those pups doing?
  • Laura Jones

I just wanted to say that KC and I had a great time watching some of your videos the other day. She just cracked me up sitting on my lap with her paws on the desk alternating between watching the screen and looking at the speaker. I don't know how she didn't have a sore neck with all the head tilting she was doing. She ecspecially like the one of the corgi dancing for his food.
  • Renee

    UH-OH! I've had it now.
  • Renee

Let me know. I feel very uncomfortable with the situation. I've never been one for designer dogs.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I AGREE ABOUT KNOWING PEOPLE AND HAVING A PASSION FOR WHAT WE DO. I AM A LITTLE ON THE OBSESSED SIDE.
  • Lisa Bond

Thank you. :-) just learning this hole website thing. :-) You seem to have alot of knowledge. I'm sure i'm like most people...we all think our critters are extremely unique. I have been unable to find any artwork of tricolor corgie that bare closer resemblance to Bentley. Do you happen to have any suggestions?
  • megan

thank you for the warm welcome
  • Lisa Bond

:-) i've never seen another without ears so that is ok. Bentley just doesn't have that longer nose and intense look. he's more... "goofy, dorkish" really seems to fit in my family as my boyfriend and youngest son are hugely dorkish. lol

thank you for the help. i appreciate it.

I don't know how I got to My Corgi - ended up here somehow. I think with my limited time, this is a better place for me....breed specific. Might drop the other one.
  • nancy and daisy

Wow you have a dog that looks just like me! I am a very smart corgi and my mom adores me. Where do you raise corgis? We live in California.

I was curious if you have a method of ear taping that you use with your Corgis. Our Cardigan is about to be 14 weeks old and his ears are not up so I think we are going to start taping but I wanted to see how you do it, when and how long. Any pointers would be appreciated. :)
  • Corgibyassociation

Thank you for such a warm welcome:D Your babies are sooo cute! I'll have to try Eukanuba. I'm not too comfortable with the Diamon brand the breeder had her on.
  • Kimberly

Thanks! He is so sweet and so goofy! We just love him to death. We are interested in getting another one to pal around with him, but I am worried that he will be really jealous. Do you have and suggestions? Is it better to get same or opposite sex? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Corgis are so addictive, very hard to stop at one. I love your pictures, they are all so cute!
  • Ike Willis

Thank you. Nice to find a good Corgi group. All of yours must be a real handful. One wears me out.
  • Alice

    Thanks, I'll give it a try. :)
  • Alice

I've looked at a couple sites that show how to tape but they are each a little different. The Phi-Vestavia site uses mole skin but I didn't like that they also use dect tape. Others use masking tape or medical tape and that seems like it would be better, but who knows. I will give it a try and I'll let you know how it goes. I think I will start next week since he will be 14 weeks on Monday. Thanks!
  • Kimberly

Thanks for the advice! Bandit is neutered and he is pretty good with other dogs, but he does have a tendency to growl a little if they get to pushy with him. I think he will be okay with another puppy since he will be the dominant one. I am glad to hear that the sex of the new puppy won't matter, because I think we are gonna try for a red/white one. Thanks again for your advice and have a Merry Christmas!
  • Robin & Gimli

Thanks so much for the warm welcome. Have a great Holiday!
  • Alice

I bought some medical tape and masking tape so I will see which one works best. Will I need anything to remove the tape such as alcohol or nail polish remover? I'm going to do the first round of taping tomorrow. I don't know why I'm nervous, how badly could I mess it up?! :)
  • Nicole

Thank you!! I can't wait to go through your page. It seems like it's going to be so helpful to me!!

I have talked to the breeder. When we picked Finn up he did tell us that we would probably have tape his ears because they are so big and he told me how he does it but even so, he has had some dogs that took a good 6 months of taping before the ears finally stood. I'm sure it has nothing to do with his method but it never hurts to get a 2nd opinion. Unfortunately our breeder is in another state. It's about a 7 hour drive so taking him to the breeder to be taped isn't really an option. I'll just give it a shot and I'm sure it will be fine. Maybe I'll post some pics of him with is tape on. :) Thanks for your advise and support. I'll keep you posted.

Hi, I love your pictures!! I am wondering if you can help me. I can't figure out how to paste a picture (just one I take myself) into someone's comment box or into a discussion box. Any tips on how you do it? thanks and Merry Xmas, Joy and Butter
  • Butter

Thanks so much for the instructions; it worked and was so easy. Joy :)
  • Denise

Why thank you! I think Sophie is a beautiful girl, and she thinks she's pretty cute herself!
  • Chelsey

Hi I just have a few questions. I just moved to Utah and decided to find a vet so i did and this one i went to started on about penhip tests and how they both need one every couple of months until they get the test at 2 years of age. My vet in california said that the only one that i need is the test at 2 years of age because thats when you will be able to tell for sure. So im very confused about the whole thing. Everytime we go to this vet he keeps pushing this 400 dollar test for each of my dogs. Please help!

We made our first attempt at ear taping and it went ok. The first time I tried to use medical tape but it didn't stick well and within a few ours it had slid to the top of the ears which was making them bend backwards. The next day we tried again with masking tape which worked much better. We only left it on for one day then took it off and it was so stuck to the fur we had a tough time getting it off. Maybe if we had left it on longer it would have come off more easily, I don't know. Anyway, his ears are already showing an improvement so we will keep taping though I think I will go back to trying to get the medical tape to work. The pictures are before taping, the first taping, results from first taping then 2nd taping. :)
  • Alice

Thanks. I'll try warming it, I didn't even think of that. We'll put it on again tonight and leave it on for a few days and see how it goes. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again for your help. :)

  • Lilo and her owner Lily

Thank you for welcoming my Lilo and I from New York. Your corgis are so cute. I love the candlelit dinner picture. =) Do you have any advice for me, this is my very first pet ever and I wanna make sure I do everything perfect.
  • Lilo and her owner Lily

Hello. My Lilo bites a lot and I try to say no but she doesn't listen and gets more aggressive, what should I do? She bites a lot, but I don't want to spend the whole time telling her no all day. Also I wanna bring her out for walks to go potty, her owner says she needs grass, but my friend said that she is too young at 7 weeks to go out without all her shots yet. How should I let her go potty?
