About My Corgi(s):
Name: Lance
Breed: Cardigan Welsh Corgi(Blue Merle)
Birthday: October 30, 2005.
Current Age: 8 1/2
RIP 5-3-14

Was an only dog for 5 years, but not anymore! Learning about sharing, I hear sharing is good. :) I have corgi buddies already so hopefully it wont be too hard to share with my brother.

Lance is a pure breed cardigan corgi, at the moment he may appear like he is not because his ears are floppy. Lance is dealing with auto immune issues and vasculitis of the ears which affects the blood flow in his ears.

Name: Tucker
Breed: Red and White Pembroke. Was rescued from the
shelter March 6, 2011
Birthday: October 12, 2007
Current Age: 6

Tucker is a sweetheart, seems quite comfy here. :) So glad to be out of the shelter. I was so sweet the first time I met my potential owners I gave them lots of corgi kisses, I stole their hearts. <3
I have:
Both Pembroke and Cardigan

  • Destiny/Mini

thankyou! i love her to death...sooo funny! cutest dogs i think
  • Julie

lance is very striking and so beautiful!! it is funny that initially you were looking for a dog that shed very little. my family also didn't know that until after the fact. corgis do shed but that would be the only minus. there are so many pluses!
  • Angelcallie

Thanks for the welcome! Your boy is very pretty - I love his fluffy cardi tail! And his blue eyes are very striking.
  • Kelly

Great meeting you too! It was so much fun :) I actually was in Northwest Indiana on Saturday dropping off my parent's lab I was watching, so it only took about 35-40 minutes to get to the resort from there..and then it took about an hour to get home to Sycamore. Not bad!
  • Hammie

Thanks for the welcome! You have such a lovely little fellow...an actual real corg--that's even more awesome! I'm a bit of a corgi-mad headcase...I have wanted corgis for as long as I can remember, and a few years ago, a pal started quizzing me about them, names and so on, and now I have this sort of set of 'corg requirements' (not really, but this is the way I imagine them to be, this has grown out of my obsession)...one's a tricolor boy and one's a sable girl, they are litter mates, the girl is older, and she is the 'good dog' and her brother is the one who always get in trouble (but we know as well as anyone that he is usually framed for the crime in question)...this has gotten to the point where my people who hear my pals and I talking about them actually believe that I have dogs...they are my little 'phantom corgis'! Silly, I know, but not as bad as my pal from work who has a phantom boyfriend!
  • Kathy and Jillie

Hey! How are you? Where are you? Come out.. come out...where ever you are! Lance go get Mommy!
  • Sam Tsang

Hey Natalie, Max is a handful :) we're patiently re-training him. What kind of video did you try and put in the blog? youtube? what was the dimension?
  • Jamie

  • Lynda

Hi there, Thanks for the welcome. Lance is very cool looking. What gorgeous eyes!!! I see you have a ton of snow in your yard too....ugh!!!
  • Lynda

I suppose we have pretty much the same weather as you. It snowed yesterday about 6 inches...and today it's below zero wind chill...again!! Those boys just don't like being outside too long in this weather. When they start lifting their paws...it's time to go in. Yes, I think Lance is adorable!!! I love his coloring.
  • Laurie and Sadie

Thanks!! Lance is so handsome!!! Look at those gorgeous eyes!
  • Sam Tsang

Hi Natalie, If you use IE8, it should fix the problem, you can also use firefox or safari. The reason why the pictures stretches out is because of the previous IE7 or older versions. If you want to change the dimensions of the pic, keep them under 500 by 3XX . It should look fine. It currently looks fine on other browsers, only IE is giving problem :)
  • Kelly O'keefe

Thanks for welcoming me to the group. Lance is stunningly handsome! I love the videos of him bouncing in the snow, too. I live in Erie, PA, where we've gotten 141" of snow so far this season, so I'm hoping I'll get matched with a corgi who really, really loves snow.
  • Lauren and Daisy

  • Dan and Jan

Thank you Natalie! Lance is stunning! Beautiful colors and he looks so sweet! We were laughing at the cute videos! The snow is so deep here we have to keep an area shoveled out for our guys. Next comes mud season, which they are not crazy about. It's funny watching them try to step around the muddy areas. Once things dry up they'll be out playing frisbee in the back yard again! We are all looking forward to that day! Best regards, Jan
  • Jill M

Hi Nat! How are you? Haven't talked to you in awhile...... Crazy week for us which I have to fill you in. Do you go back to work this week? If you do I hope you have an easy transition back with the kiddies!!
Do you live anywhere near Peoria?? Let me know if you know anything about that location??
    Take Care!

  • Dooby

Because Snoopy do not have any playmate to play with, so we take him to a doggie playground socialize with other dogs every Saturday. That's a dog day care center, offer a 3 hrs social hour every Saturday, I think that's a good idea for Snoopy and us to spend time in winter time. ^^
  • Twolves

Thanx for the welcome. I could spend days here, but dont think my boss would dig that too much. Will enjoy many hours with fellow Corgi lovers :)
