    Welcome!

My corgi would be insulted if I expected her to ride in the back of the truck lol. How fun for you that you get to take him to work with you. Welcome.
  • Renee

Thanks for the Welcomes. when I decided to get Max I should have known he'd be something special and he is. Nothing like any other one I've ever had It's nice to know there is some place to go where they won't think we're nuts..

Thank you! I really enjoy seeing all the other corgi's and the peeps that love them.
  • Bindi

Renee - you have to be careful with food because corgi's are so prone to obesity. My Bindi is 12 weeks old, and we feed her 1 cup a day... 1/2 cup in the am and 1/2 cup in the pm - plus all of her bones for being so good and learning her tricks. We also go for about a mile and a half walk every day.

Hmmm...I know a breeder in Colorado that is awesome. Thats where I got my new pup from but she is pricey on her pups. At $450 I would have to do some checking around. Would you be willing to travel alittle to pick the pup up out of Colorado to nearing states?
  • Wendt Worth Corgi's

At the moment I don't have any ideas but needed to know if something comes up. Are you in a hurry for one? I don't know if the breeder in Co is expecting a litter or not.
  • Wendt Worth Corgi's

I just talked to another breeder here in Ohio that has a really nice looking male that is 10 weeks old and would let him go for $400 and shipping shouldn't be more then 250.00. I know that is going over what you'd like to spend, I'm just mentioning it if it something you think you can do. He does except visa or mastercard as well and he could hold him for a bit if that would help you at all. I'm sure he would do that. I can send you some pictures of him if you'd like.

I completely understand and no problem. Rhiannon had 1 boy and 4 girls early this morning and they are all tris. They look great and strong. I'm leaving them along for a bit so mom can relax. We were up all night.
  • Wendt Worth Corgi's

So far they are doing great. The first 2 weeks are crucial so I'll be on high guard for awhile. Thank you Renee.
  • Corgi lover! (Misty)

I'm so sorry to hear about Max! Hope he is feeling better soon!
  • Wendt Worth Corgi's

They are doing incredible. OMG are they too cute. They are really starting to react to my scent and touch..way too cute. I took a couple of group pics if you would like to see but this one was one of my favorites and was the first female born and the biggest. She has the coolest marking on her neck that just catches my eye.

My Song is a June baby, getting so big now. Our Carrie, our fluff, is 14 months old, she is soooooo sweet. We got Carrie after we very suddenly lost our first corgi Rosie. I was so upset my Husband got on line the next day and found Carrie. Since it was February not many puppies were available that we could drive to. She was meant for us. She is such a sweetie that she started the healing process in our hearts. Then we decieded to be a two Corgi family and oh what fun. Have a great week---Dot

No such thing. Its from bad breeding. I had one..not by choice really. I was just starting out and went from pictures and she seemed bigger in the picture and about fainted when I saw her get unloaded from transport. Her head reminded me of a chihuahua. Needless to say that was money burnt and I gave her to a really great couple and I still get to see her every couple of months. Live and learn.
  • Wendt Worth Corgi's

Yes..I know. I can't believe some of the responses he is giving. I know Shawn from that site only wants reputable breeders there. Not sure how he is going to feel about this. He may do everything for the dog but he is still breeding out of the standards and claiming things that are not accurate at all which to me is scamming people.
  • Wendt Worth Corgi's

Pups are doing great. No..haven't said anything to Shawn yet. The guy has been deleting my comments from his profile. LOL Anyways..guess what??? He's a member here on this site as well.

Yes they for sure fill that empy nest. I have not moved so much for a long time.My doctor is very proud of me I lost 7 pounds since I have had the two of them. We got Carrie after we lost our first Corgi and I was so upset. She was sooo sweet we got another. There are nights I lie in bed and say "what did I do?" I love them both sooo much. It is alot of fun to--Dot.

I breed pems and cadis. We will have a litter of each this spring. Look at our website @ www.kannard.com/LD/LD.html
  • Ginny and Diggory

I don't know if you're still looking, but I found this website.
    http://samscorgis.zoomshare.com/0.html

They're in Burlington and have several litters. Puppies are $400.
  • Wendt Worth Corgi's

I e-mailed you directly but am wondering if he is eating okay?
  • Wendt Worth Corgi's

Check his teeth..he could be having an issue there and might have an abcess and it hurts to bite down on the greenie and thats why he is whimpering wanting to eat it but can't.
  • Jill and JOSIE

That is hilarious about your favorite boxer!! Yes, when the canine love hates the sig. O, we should listen!!

I have a menagerie of canine loves, each fulfills a purpose and a place in my heart. From what I am hearing on this site, the Corgi is to become my favorite!! She will have her work cut out for her with my other pooches!!
  • Wendt Worth Corgi's

Hey Renee..was thinking about you last night. Haven't really heard from you lately. Hope all is well and take care.
  • Wendt Worth Corgi's

They're okay. Got alot of snow and the dogs are like kids in it. Rhiannon is really wanting nothing to do w/her pups...they hurt her now and they are eating good so making her visits scarce now to get them ready. I know w/the horses we did it cold turkey but w/the pups I do it gradually. Plus I feel mom still teaches them a thing or 2. How is the weather your way?
  • Wendt Worth Corgi's

Got quite a bit of snow and calling for 8 1/2 more inches on Wednesday. The dogs are loving it. I got a great picture of them in it too. I'll be posting it. 2 new photos on the slideshow I have on my profile of the dogs playing as well. Good luck w/your training.
  • Wendt Worth Corgi's

OMG Renee. Thats scary! I hope your doing better. Do you take meds for that and did they up the dosage? What triggered them do you think? I haven't really been on line for a week. I'm so far behind on my computer work but wanted to get spring cleaning done before Meagan has this next litter and of course whenever you rework computers it never seems to go quickly or completely smoothly. lol D. Campbell is no longer a member here. Did you notice?
  • Wendt Worth Corgi's

Seizures are scary as heck. I've watched some youtube videos of people and dogs having them. Good luck and get better.

Hi Renee, we live in town, kinda North/ West side of town. A playdate sometime would be great. I can't wait to be able to take Tuffy to the dog park! Your story about Max and the cactus had me giggling, poor guy. But thats Pueblo West for you;)
