Welcome Erica, I was just wondering where you got Wyatt. I saw a corgi just like him at the pet store once back in hmmm...September or October maybe?? I was SO close to buying him.
OMG!! I almost bought your dog!! That is so weird! I played with him for more than 2 hours and my boyfriend had to drag me away crying telling me we can't afford 2 dogs!! I am so happy he is in a very nice home :) !! He is so adorable, congrats!
Hi Wyatt! I would love to be friends - if you ever want to do a Massachusetts Corgi meetup, I would love to play! Cheers - George (and his mom Rachel ;-)
Love the pictures of Wyatt! He is obviously one of the coolest dogs in town. You can tell by the way he looks like he doesn't really want to be hugged - like you're cramping his style! And the sweater! Hoogie has a raincoat that he wears so he doesn't drag in the mud puddles and I think he looks handsome in it, but I think he'd rather just get dirty. Hope you're enjoying the spring! Go Massachusetts corgis!
I love your dogs blaze. He is such a cutie. I really like the pic of him winking and yawning at the same time. I can't wait to take our puppies to the lake or the beach to see if they like to play in the water to..
Yes! Wyatt's blaze is so unique! What a spunky pupper.
I'm glad to see that you've learned about puppy mills! I learned about them when I moved to South Texas two years ago and saw people hawking puppies for hundreds of dollars on the side of the road. I exclaimed how I used to see people giving puppies away, but who would pay $350 for a puppy from the roadside?! My friend clued me in to the puppy mill aspect and how they use the puppies for dogfights. =(
Hoogie will do anything for a hot dog. If I'm training him on a new trick, I take about a cup of cheerios, a hot dog cut into chunks, put it all in a ziplock bag and microwave until the juices of the hot dog go into the cheerios and we are ready to go! He just tries so hard to please me when he knows I have a hot dog for him.
Hi Erica, the Nevada SPCA is a no kill shelter, they have all dog breeds and will not ship due to limited funds, there is no background check, it is adoption. The best thing to do is to give them a call :)
Other corgi rescue group on the other hand will do a heavy screening.
Thank you so much! This is hard but we are making it through and I do feel better that a piece of him is still with me. I do recommend the cremation. Very few people understand how hard this is so I just look back and appreciate even more the love that we shared.
Thank you for your support. We are taking it one step at a time with her. She is imporving every day and starting to be more active and holding down food and water. Its hard to see any animnal go through this and not know what is wrong or how to fix it. We are glad to see she is better even though.
Hi Erica, thank you for your message, we have received a lot of emails and my team is evaluating each one of them this week, if you give me your email address, I can have them look it up to make sure.
Wyatt is a stunning corgi ! ! He is unique. I am glad Wookie didn't see the mouse, he will eat them. Gross and expensive. He got tapeworms from eating one. It was $15 for just 2 pills, not to mention the vet visit.
He has a genetic disease referred to as DM. This disease is related to a degeneration of a portion of the spine that allows the brain to send messages to the placement of the legs. He has feeling in his legs but is unable to use the appropriately. He is now 13 years old and no longer able to walk. He happily cruises in his cart at least once daily and still is loving life.
Hey there! We are actually right in Nashua.
You should swing by the Westford Academy HOliday Bazaar on Saturday 12/6... we will be there selling our doggy treats!
