    Addie is so cute.

    Hi Kristi!

It sounds like Addie was a DTG (Dog to go!) :)
  • Katie

Hey Kristi-I can't really afford the show circuit either- esp. with these gas prices! :) I mainly clinic and do 1 reco. show a year My horse loves to jump too and would probably would have loved to be an eventer- he's got some eventers in his pedigree. :) I've been lucky enough to take some lessons from Clark Montgomery- that is the closest I've come to eventing! I can't even imagine doing a 3 star! Amazing! There are a couple of other horse people here too- check out my friends Cheryl (dressage and retired foxhunter) and Laura (eventer). If you ever need a horsey fix- check out http://themanurepile39728.yuku.com/ There are lots of horse people there- talking horses and other stuff!
  • Katie

OMG! I can't even imagine having a horse that talented! How cool that the O'Connors liked your horse! You must miss it! But taking a break from horses must be nice too!I am sure managing a family and a horse of that skill would be difficult. A friend of mine has one of her horses in Europe with Clark right now, which I think is pretty cool. Hey, I hope that you don't get too much rain with Dolly...
  • Kristi

We need the rain terribly. I just hope it rains the whole time except...7-8am & 4:30 - 5:30pm...I hate driving in the rain :)

Your dogs sure are cute. I'm having trouble keeping weight on Ms. Addie right now - I spent over $200 at the vet last week trying to figure it out - so we/her currently are on antiobiotics (to treat for Colitis & Giardia just in case), special food ($50/20lb bag) and we are waiting for results of bloodwork ($120).
  • Cheryl

Hey Kristi! Corgis and horses! Gotta love em! Do you have any pictures of your horse?
  • Kristi

Not on this computer..but I will get some up this week. I'm currently horseless but that's okay (for now) my daughter & dogs more than make up that expense. Beautiful pictures on your page.
  • Katie

Kristi- I hope you have figure out what is wrong with Addie soon and that it isn't serious. And you can ship her off to me &/or Cheryl. We are really good at fattening up corgis! Ooops! :)
  • Kristi

Too funny!!! Addie sure is a funny girl. I can't get weight on her but it sure doesn't slow her down AT ALL :) I think her OCD is playing fetch...her breeder was telling me that all Corgi's OCD on something. Plus she does the whole "corgi brain bore' - trying to get me to read her mind! Throw the ball, throw the ball, throw the ball!!!
  • Katie

Kristi- "corgi brain bore' is so funny! Molly does that too! Usually, she is telling me that I want to take her for a walk or give her a cookie. Here she is, practicing corgitelepathy.

we're scheduled to attend the pooch parade though today my daughter woke up quite congested. so we'll play it by ear. we're located near the huebner oaks shopping center (vance jackson and huebner). how about you? do you ever go to mcallister dog park? there are a cpl other SA corgis we met up with at the mcallister park kite festival a cpl of months ago. be sure to join the south texas group!! its specifically geared to SA!
  • Matthew Aguilera

Hey Kristi, nice to meet you, hopefully Cloud and I will see you guys at the Mcal dog park and the fiesta pooch parade soon!
  • Celina Mastin

Hi Kristi, nice to meet someone from SA. I'm new to this whole thing but I'm, or should I say we, are interested in meeting new Corgi's. Sandie and I would be interested in out when ya'll go to the dog park. I haven't taken her yet. I was kind of nervous about it but it would be great to meet up with some other corgi's. Please let me know and I'd love to meet ya'll and hopefully others. :0)
  • Kimberly

Kristi, thanks for the add and welcome. I would love to take mine to the beach, but I am sure they would all be terrified. Maybe seeing others playing in the water would give them some courage :-) We look forward to meeting you at the park sometime.
  • Ein Danger

my parents are on that side of town as well :) where are you taking your pup for agility classes? we're interested in getting ein enrolled in some basic obedience classes at rob cary pet resort. we'd like to master the basics first then on to agility. he's a fast runner and he has some good spring when he jumps. he's totally made for agility!
  • Ein Danger

she's a little better but me and my hubby are feeling "meh" today. i think i have post-nasal drip and my hubby has a stuffy nose with plenty of sneezing :( i hate allergies!!! i'm gonna keep addie well-rested for the rest of the week so she'll be up to going to the pooch parade :) thanks for asking!
